Rory McIlroy – $10,600
Rory McIlroy is always in the conversation for the career grand slam when he comes to Augusta. He has been close to winning The Masters several times, but the green jacket still eludes him. His game suits the course perfectly, and he is in good form, ticking most of the boxes PGA DFS players require. If the course plays soft, it will work to McIlroy’s advantage since he is excellent off the tee. He is among the favorites in the betting market and is garnering high PGA DFS ownership projections. Nonetheless, he is the preferred starting point.
Tony Finau – $8,900
There are many players in the low-$9,000 and upper-$8,000 range on DraftKings who could get in the mix this week, and Tony Finau is putting in the work to justify the exposure. His iron game is hot, gaining him strokes on the approach in every 2023 event. He has been even better lately, gaining at least strokes on the approach in an incredible six straight events. When a golfer is dialed in with their ball striking, every event is an opportunity to win.
In addition to his iron game, Finau has had some success at Augusta. In his last five appearances, he has made the weekend every time and has three top-10s. If he can continue this form, he will be a staple in many different PGA DFS builds and could even find himself in the winning lineup come Sunday.

Sahith Theegala – $7,500
For conservative PGA DFS players, Corey Conners and Tommy Fleetwood are chalkier picks in this same price range. However, Sahith Theegala is a potentially under-the-radar play who could make some noise at The Masters. While it is concerning that this is his first Masters and he may be nervous or struggle with the course, Theegala has all the shots and has proven he can hang with the best.
This year he had a top-5 finish at Farmers and a sixth at the Genesis, with no missed cuts on his resume. While Theegala’s ball striking has been erratic at times, a hot putter has masked some of these issues. He could be a wild card, but with fewer than 90 golfers in the field, some of these picks could go a long way. Theegala has the potential to be on the first few pages of the leaderboard this week if he gets rolling in the potentially softer conditions.
