Daniel Jones-Jalen Hurts DFS Ranking & Analysis
Per our Stokastic expert DFS projections, Jalen Hurts ($7,600 on the DraftKings main slate) projects to have 25.90 fantasy points, behind just Patrick Mahomes for the highest projected number of any player in the Divisional Round. Daniel Jones ($5,800) projects out at 18.88 points. Stokastic’s models have Hurts as the slightly better value play despite the large difference in pricing.
Stokastic’s Ownership Projections tool has Hurts owned in 19.1% of DFS lineups in the main slate, with Jones owned in just 9.8%.
Jones will enter Saturday night’s matchup coming off the biggest win of his NFL career. He completed 24 of 35 passes for 301 yards, adding a team-high 78 yards on the ground. It marked the second consecutive game where Jones ran for over 75 yards. However, he had just 195 all-purpose yards in the 48-22 loss to the Eagles in Week 14 of the regular season.
Hurts has been hampered by a shoulder injury that kept him out of Weeks 16 & 17, but after being cautious during his return to the lineup in Week 18, the Eagles quarterback feels nearly back to 100%.
“We are fortunate that we have two weeks till the next time we play, depending on if it’s Saturday or Sunday. We’re fortunate there,” Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni said after clinching a first-round bye, per CBS Sports. “Again, he’s going to be a little bit healthier than what he was obviously the other day.”
Before hurting his shoulder, Hurts torched the Giants for 217 passing yards, 77 rushing yards, and three total touchdowns the last time these two teams met.
Expect a rejuvenated Jalen Hurts to make a statement on Saturday night, making him a slightly better DFS option than Daniel Jones.
