In this column, we are going to review the basics of Jock MKT, including how it differs from making regular NFL DFS picks and how it aligns with the fantasy football games you already know. Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the NFL Monday Night slate, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT NFL Starter Kit | Week 6 Monday Night Football
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging all the way up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular NFL DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done all the way up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Monday Night Football
Josh Allen — QB — Buffalo Bills
While he has had some struggles for fantasy this season, Josh Allen still feels like the clear top choice on this slate. Following the fluke in Week 1, Allen has passed for 300 yards and at least three touchdowns in both competitive games. His stats were not impressive in the other two games, but the Bills were able to relax since they outscored their opponents 75-0 in those games. Monday Night Football should be competitive tonight, and he faces a Titans defense that allows the fifth-most yards per play in the league (6.2), so the matchup provides high upside for Allen. Jock MKT ranks Allen as the top overall player on the slate, and Awesemo projects him the same way. If this hits, an Allen share would pay out $25.
Emmanuel Sanders — WR — Buffalo Bills
While many are projecting this to be the Stefon Diggs breakout game, there is not as much upside with him. Jock MKT ranks Diggs second highest on the slate, while Awesemo projects him to finish third.
Instead, target Emmanuel Sanders, who is putting together an impressive season of his own. While Sanders only has 31 targets to Diggs’ 47, Sanders has just nine fewer receptions, 52 fewer yards and three more touchdowns. Sanders has also been the deep threat for the Bills, with an average depth of target of 16 yards. The top attention should continue to be on Diggs tonight, which opens plenty of opportunity for Sanders. Jock MKT ranks Sanders seventh on this slate, while Awesemo projects him to finish sixth, which would pay out $8 per share.
Devin Singletary —RB — Buffalo Bills
Buffalo has developed a competent running game this season, which has been missing in past years. For those looking to get exposure to the Bills backfield, the popular choice will be Zack Moss, who has found the end zone most. However, Devin Singletary has been the starter for the Bills and has seen double-digit carries in all but one game. When there is a split backfield, it is always an interesting approach to target the player fewer people are interested in since they have the most upside between the two.
Singletary has totaled 70 yards rushing in three of five games this season, and he has the potential to break off a long touchdown run at any point, giving him high upside against a struggling defense. Jock MKT ranks Singletary 11th on this slate, and Awesemo projects him to finish 11th as well. This pays out $3 per share. However, if he scores the touchdown and/or if Moss misses any snaps due to injury, Singletary has the potential to finish much higher while also having a solid floor.
