Below are three of the best Jock MKT NFL picks for the Los Angeles Rams vs. Seattle Seahawks Thursday Night Football matchup, based on the expert NFL DFS projections from the No. 1 DFS player in the world, Alex Baker.
Jock MKT Starter Kit: NFL Picks | Rams vs. Seahawks
To begin, enter the NFL Daily Market when the Initial Public Offering (IPO) phase is underway. Leading up until kickoff on the slate’s first game, bid on players you are interested in acquiring on the open market. Is there a player who you consider a favorite to finish at the top of the rankings? Invest as much or as little as you want in their fantasy performance, with shares beginning at $1 and ranging up to $25. See potential injury news that could open an opportunity for another player to acquire fantasy points? Make speculative bids for shares of the backup, hoping for that news to break after the IPO phase is complete.
The next part of the game occurs during live trading. Unlike regular DFS, where your plays are locked in, you can buy and sell shares of players while the games are happening based on their production and where you could see them finishing amongst the field. Track as current points, projected points, and live price for each player is updated in real-time, allowing you to track the action and invest in an instant to account for news. Trading can be done up until the final whistle.
Each player share is paid out at the end of the games based on their final rankings of fantasy points amongst the field. If the shares you own are worth more than what you paid, you win money. For more information, check out the Jock MKT website.
Jock MKT NFL Picks for Thursday Night Football
Matthew Stafford — QB — Los Angeles Rams
Tonight, Awesemo projects Matthew Stafford to be the top overall player on the slate, projecting him for 24.16 points and a value on Jock MKT of $17.65. If he were to finish top overall on this slate, owners would get a payout of $25 per share.
When discussing Stafford, it is important to compare him to the other team’s quarterback, Russell Wilson. Stafford has more upside simply due to the defense he faces. The Seahawks secondary still is not great, ranking in the middle or bottom half of the league in most categories. The Rams rank slightly higher, and their defensive philosophy of eliminating deep shots takes away a large part of Seattle’s strength. With Tyler Lockett and D.K. Metcalf as the top receiving weapons, it is hard to imagine Wilson being the top overall scorer by targeting those players on underneath routes. Because of this, Stafford is the top projected player.
Alex Collins — RB — Seattle Seahawks
Chris Carson is questionable to play tonight due to a neck injury. If he is ruled out, Alex Collins may not be the value some want him to be. However, he should rank high at the end of the night. Even if Carson is active, Collins will have a role. With Carson playing last week, Collins saw nearly 40% of the snaps. This led to him carrying the ball 10 times for 44 yards and a touchdown while adding two receptions for 34 yards. He was the team’s leading rusher and second-leading receiver. Again, if the Rams are going to keep players in front of them and force throws underneath, Collins could be one of the most to benefit.
Jock MKT ranks Collins 16th overall. Awesemo projects him to be the 12th-leading scorer if Carson plays a full game. However, it is easy to see his upside for more.
Robert Woods — WR — Los Angeles Rams
The ongoing debate for the rest of the season will be which Rams wide receiver will go off in any given game. When that is the debate, it is wise to take the lesser-valued player on Jock MKT, as there is a higher potential return on investment.
Jock MKT ranks Cooper Kupp third and Robert Woods seventh. Awesemo projects Kupp’s value to be $14.41, while Woods is $7.72. While Kupp may have a slightly higher ceiling, it is not by much. The targets could swing Woods’ way at any time, and nobody is questioning his talent. This is a buy-low spot, with both players having the potential to have big games. Thanks for reading to the end of this article!
