NFL DFS: Saturday’s Preseason Week 3 Value Plays, Sleepers & NFL DFS Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel (August 27)

Week 3 of the NFL Preseason continues with two slates on Saturday (Aug. 27, 2022). Like Week 2, the most important factor in preseason DFS is projecting playing time. This piece will dig into the roster of each team and pinpoint exactly where that value might come from and be the ultimate guide for making the best NFL DFS picks tonight for DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.

Jacksonville Jaguars

QB 1 – Trevor Lawrence – Lawrence did not play in the Hall of Fame Game, but he played 64 snaps over the last two weeks, completing 20 of 33 passes for 228 yards and 1 TD. Starters aren’t expected to play in Week 3. 

QB 2 – CJ Beathard – Beathard did not play in the Hall of Fame Game, but he played 35 snaps over the last two weeks, completing 10 of 17 passes for 86 yards and 1 TD. 

QB 3 – EJ Perry – Perry is a UDFA out of Brown. He is 6-2, 211 pounds and rushed for 402 yards and 7 scores last year. Perry is a solid dual threat and played 15 snaps in Week 2. 

RB 1 – James Robinson – Robinson is coming off a torn achilles, but he is practicing. Robinson won’t play here as he continues to rehab. He wore a non-contact jersey as of Aug. 16. 

RB 2 – Travis Etienne – Etienne played 43 snaps over the last two games, rushing 17 times and catching 1 of 2 targets. 

RB 3 – Snoop Conner – Conner is a rookie out of Ole Miss, drafted with the 154th pick in the 5th Round. He is 5-10, 222 pounds and rushed for 647 yards on 130 attempts last year. He also caught 14 receptions. Conner played 36 snaps, rushing 18 times and catching 4 of 5 targets. 

RB 4 – Ryquel Armstead – Armstead is 5-11, 220 and was drafted with pick 140 in the 5th Round of the 2019 class out of Temple. He had a rough battle with Covid-19, but he’s back. Armstead played 28 snaps, rushing 10 times and catching 3 of 5 targets. 

RB 5 – Mekhi Sargent – Sargent played 43 snaps, rushing 13 times and catching 8 of 9 targets. 

WR 1 – Christian Kirk – Kirk missed the first two preseason games, but played 33 snaps in Week 3. 

WR 2 – Marvin Jones – Jones didn’t play in the HOF game, but he played 52 snaps over the last two weeks. 

WR 3 – Zay Jones – Jones didn’t play in the HOF game, but he played 55 snaps over the last two weeks. 

WR 4 – Laviska Shenault – Shenault missed the first two games, but played 10 snaps last week. 

WR 5 – Jamal Agnew –  Agnew is primarily a special teamer and he is coming off hip surgery this offseason. The team has been working him back slowly and only played 2 snaps last week. 

WR 6 – Laquon Treadwell – Treadwell participated in 24.3% of the routes. 

WR 7 – Jeff Cotton – Cotton is a 2020 UDFA out of Idaho. He is 6-2, 204 pounds. Cotton participated in 54% of the routes. 

WR 8 – Tim Jones – Jones is a 2021 UDFA out of Southern Miss. He is 6-1, 202 pounds and caught 30 balls for 480 yards in 7 games in 2021. He participated in 52% of the routes. 

WR 9 – Kevin Austin – Austin is a 2022 UDFA out of Notre Dame. He is 6-2, 200 pounds and ran a 4.43 40-yard dash. He was a 1-year wonder at Notre Dame and caught 48 balls for 888 yards and 7 scores. Austin participated in 29.1% of the routes. 

WR 10 – Willie Johnson – Johnson is a 2022 UDFA out of Marshall. He is 6-0, 178 pounds and caught 32 passes for 625 yards in 2021. He played 6 years in college and won’t make this roster. Johnson has participated in 10.8% of the routes. 

TE 1 – Evan Engram -Engram didn’t play in the HOF game, but he played 42 snaps and participated in 20.3% of the routes. 

TE 2  – Dan Arnold – Arnold played with Carolina before coming over via trade last year. He has 40 snaps and participated in 18.9% of the routes. 

TE 3 – Chris Manhertz Manhertz did not play in the HOF game, but he 34 snaps over the last two weeks for a 6.8% route rate. 

TE 4 – Luke Farrell – Farrell played 41 snaps so far with a 16.2% route rate. 

TE 5 – Gerrit Prince – Prince is a 2022 UDFA out of UAB. he is 6-5, 241 pounds and he caught 36 balls for 699 yards and 10 scores last year. Prince has played 30 snaps with a 28.4% route rate. 

K 1 – James McCourt – signed Aug. 23

Atlanta Falcons

QB 1 – Marcus Mariota – Mariota played 28 snaps, completing 8 of 12 passes for 168 yards and 1 TD. 

QB 2 – Desmond Ridder – Ridder was drafted 74th overall in the 3rd Round out of Cincinnati. He is 6-3, 211 pounds and ran a 4.52 40-yard dash. Ridder played 68 snaps, completing 20 of 35 passes for 246 yards and 2 TDs. He does have 54 rushing yards.

QB 3 – Feleipe Franks – Franks completed 42.3% of his passes for 128 yards, 0 TDs, and 1 INT. He is 6-6, 228 pounds and ran a 4.61 40-yard dash, but he has been playing some tight end in camp. Franks played 35 snaps, completing 2 of 6 passes. 

RB 1 – Cordarrelle Patterson – Patterson played 2 snaps. 

RB 2 – Damien Williams – Williams played 10 snaps, rushing 5 times. 

RB 3 – Tyler Allgeier – Allgeier was the 151st pick in the 5th round out of BYU. He is 5-11, 224 pounds and ran a 4.60 40-yard dash. He rushed for 1,130 and 1,601 yards in back to back years, while catching 42 passes in those two seasons. Allgeier played 40 snaps, rushing 9 times and catching all 3 targets. 

RB 4 –  Avery Williams – Williams didn’t play last preseason. He was drafted 184th overall in the 5th round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played corner in college, but Atlanta changed his position this offseason. He is 5-9, 195 pounds and profiles a pass catching back. Williams has received rave reviews as a pass catching specialist this preseason. He played 13 snaps, rushing 1 time and catching his only target. 

RB 5 – Qadree Ollison – Ollison played 27 snaps, rushing 9 times and catching 1 of 2 targets. 

RB 6 – Caleb Huntley– Huntley is 5-10, 229 pounds. He played 39 snaps, rushing 19 times without a target. 

RB 7 – Keith Smith – Full back

WR 1 – Drake London – London was the 8th overall pick in the 1st round coming out of USC. He is 6-4, 219 pounds and didn’t test due to an ankle injury in his final year at USC. London played 5 snaps in Week 1 before getting hurt. He didn’t practice on Aug. 20. 

WR 2 – Olamide Zaccheaus – Zaccheaus participated in 8.5% of the routes. 

WR 3 – Bryan Edwards – Edwards was drafted 81st overall by the Raiders in 2020, but has since been traded to Atlanta. He has 45 career regular season catches. Edwards didn’t play in Week 1, but he has been practicing in full this week. He played 12 snaps in Week 2. 

WR 4 – Damiere Byrd – Byrd participated in 18.3% of the routes. 

WR 5 – KhaDarel Hodge – Hodges participated in 16.9% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Frank Darby – Darby participated in 29.6% of the routes. 

WR 7 – Cameron Batson – Batson participated in 21.1% of the routes. 

WR 8 – KeeSean Johnson – The Falcons cut Tyshaun James and signed KeeSean Johnson this week. He played 20 snaps in Week 2. 

WR 9 – Jared Bernhardt – Bernhardt is a UDFA out of Ferris State. He is 6-1, 195 pounds. He ran a 4.70 40-yard dash. Bernhardt participated in 19.7% of the routes. 

WR 10 – Stanley Berryhill – Berryhill is a UDFA out of Arizona. He is 5-9, 182 pounds and ran a 4.45 40-yard dash. Berryhill has impressed in camp, but that only amounted to 5 routes in Week 1. He has yet to see a target in the preseason. 

TE 1- Kyle Pitts – Pitts played  13 snaps and participated in 7% of the routes. 

TE 2 – Anthony Firkser – Firkser played 39 snaps and participated in 36.6% of the routes. 

TE 3 – Parker Hesse – Hesse is 6-3, 261 pounds and played 39 snaps with a 19.7% route rate. 

TE 4 – John FitzPatrick – Fitzpatrick was the 214th pick in the 6th round out of Georgia. He is 6-7, 262 pounds and ran a 4.82 40-yard dash. FitzPatrick played 26 snaps, but hasn’t seen a target. 

TE 5 – John Raine – Raine is 6-2, 230 pounds and came out of Northwestern as a UDFA. He played 27 snaps with a 7% route rate. 

TE 6 – Mycole Pruitt – Pruitt is a solid blocker, playing 39 snaps with a 14.1% route rate.

Los Angeles Rams

QB 1 – Matthew Stafford – Stafford  won’t play this preseason

QB 2 – John Wolford – Wolford didn’t play in Week 1, but he played 37 snaps in Week 2, completing 14 of 22 passes for 142 yards.  He hurt his finger nail and isn’t expected to play here. 

QB 3 – Bryce Perkins – Perkins played all 89 snaps, completing 21 of 30 passes for 256 yards and 2 TDs. 

RB 1 – Cam Akers – Akers didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

RB 2 – Darrell Henderson – Henderson didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

RB 3 – Jake Funk – Funk played 25 snaps, rushing 7 times and catching 2 of 3 targets. 

RB 4 – Kyren Williams – Williams was the 164th pick in the 5th round out of Notre Dame. He is 5-9, 194 pounds and ran a 4.65 40-yard dash. He rushed for 1,000+ yards in back to back seasons. He also caught 77 balls during that span. Williams was activated from PUP on Aug. 8, but he didn’t play in Week 1 or 2. 

RB 5 – Trey Ragas – Ragas played 23 snaps, rushing 10 times without any targets. 

WR 1 – Cooper Kupp – Kupp didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

WR 2 – Allen Robinson – Robinson didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

WR 3 – Van Jefferson– Jefferson didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason. He has a knee injury. 

WR 4 – Ben Skowronek – Skowronek didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

WR 5 – Tutu Atwell – Atwell didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

WR 6 – Jacob Harris –  Harris missed over a week with a groin injury, but he played 40 snaps and now has a 33.8% route rate. 

WR 7 – Lance McCutcheon – McCutcheon is a UDFA out of Montana State. He is 6-3, 202 pounds and ran a 4.57 40-yard dash. McCutcheon played 112 snaps with an 80.5% route rate. 

WR 8 – Brandon Powell – Powell injured his knee and hasn’t been a full participant in practice. He ran sprints on Aug. 16. 

WR 9 – Landen Akers – Akers participated in 59.7% of the routes. 

WR 10 – Austin Trammell – Trammell participated in 63.6% of the routes. 

TE 1- Tyler Higbee – Higbee didn’t play in Week 1 and won’t this preseason

TE 2 – Brycen Hopkins – Hopkins played 52 snaps with a 44.2% route rate. 

TE 3 – Jared Pinkney – Pinkney didn’t play in Week 1, but he received 7 snaps in Week 2. 

TE 4 – Roger Carter – Carter is a UDFA out of Georgia State. He is 6-2, 250 pounds and ran a 4.84 4-yard dash. He is more of a fullback/H-Back type player. He played 44 snaps with a 22.1% route rate. 

K 1 – Matt Gay

Cincinnati Bengals 

QB 1 – Joe Burrow – Burrow has been working his way back from appendicitis. He returned to 11 on 11 on Aug. 17, but starters aren’t expected to play in the preseason. 

QB 2 – Brandon Allen – Allen suffered a concussion in Week 1, but has played 44 snaps this preseason. He is 17 of 23 with 134 yards. 

QB 3 – Jake Browning – Browning played 75 snaps, completing 23 of 40 passes for 279 yards. He does have 21 rushing yards. 

RB 1 – Joe Mixon – Mixon did not play in Week 1. 

RB 2 – Samaje Perine – Perine was called a safety blanket in the pass game. He is also allegedly ahead of Evans right now. Perine came off PUP in July and Cincinnati has taken a cautious approach with him in the preseason so far. 

RB 3 – Chris Evans – Evans played 47 snaps, rushing 13 times and catching all 4 targets. 

RB 4 – Trayveon Williams – Williams played 53 snaps, rushing 15 times and catching both of his targets. 

RB 5 – Jacques Patrick – Patrick played 33 snaps, rushing 13 times and catching all 3 targets. 

WR 1 – Ja’Marr Chase – Chase will not play this preseason. 

WR 2 – Tee Higgins – Higgins is coming off offseason shoulder surgery and hopes to be fully cleared at the end of camp. 

WR 3 – Tyler Boyd – Boyd will not play this preseason. 

WR 4 – Trent Taylor – Taylor, Williams, Irvwin, and Lassiter are the primary returner candidates. He participated in 32.6% of routes. 

WR 5 – Mike Thomas – Thomas did not play in Week 1, but ran 16 routes in Week 1.  

WR 6 – Stanley Morgan – Morgan participated in 15.1% of the routes. 

WR 7 – Trenton Irwin – Irwin participated in 48.8% of the routes. 

WR 8 – Kwamie Lassiter – Lassiter is a UDFA out of Kansas. He is 5-11, 185 pounds. Lassiter participated in 60.5% of the routes. 

WR 9 – Kendric Pryor – He is a UDFA out of Wisconsin. He is 5-11, 183 pounds. Pryor participated in 53.5% of the routes. 

TE 1- Hayden Hurst –  Hurst will not play this preseason. 

TE 2 – Drew Sample – Drew sample is week to week with a knee injury. 

TE 3 – Mitchell Wilcox – Wilcox suffered an injury in Week 1 and had a boot on his foot as of Aug. 14. 

TE 4 – Thaddeus Moss – Moss played 55 snaps with a 39.5% route participation. 

TE 5 – Justin Rigg – He is a UDFA out of Kentucky. He is 6-6, 263 pounds and mostly a blocker. He played 42 snaps with a 19.8% route rate.  

TE 6 – Nick Eubanks – Eubanks played 36 snaps with a 14% route rate. 

K 1 – Evan McPherson

Washington Football Team

QB 1 – Carson Wentz – Wentz played 41 snaps, completing 16 of 22 passes for 138 yards. Starters will play limited snaps according to Rivera. 

QB 2 – Taylor Heinicke – Heinicke played 32 snaps, completing13 of 21 passes for 104 yards, 1 TD, and 1 Int. 

QB 3 – Sam Howell – Howell was the 144th pick in the 5th round out of North Carolina. He is 6-1, 218 pounds and ran for 828 yards last year. Howell 61 snaps, completing 19 of 34 passes for 365 yards and 1 INT. He has 32 rushing yards. 

RB 1 – Antonio Gibson – Gibson played 36 snaps, rushing 6 times and catching 4 of 5 targets. 

RB 2 – JD McKissic  – McKissic played 6 snaps Week 1, but he missed Week 2. 

RB 3 – Jaret Patterson – Patterson played 23 snaps, rushing 5 times and catching his only target. 

RB 4 – Brian Robinson – Robinson was drafted 98th overall in the third round out of Alabama. He is 6-2, 225 pounds and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash. He rushed for 1,343 yards and caught 35 balls as a senior. Robinson played 24 snaps, rushing 14 times and catching both of his targets. 

RB 5 – Jonathan Williams – Williams played 18 snaps, rushing 9 times and catching 1 of 2 targets. 

RB 6 – Reggie Bonnafon – Bonnafon played 27 snaps, rushing 3 times and catching both of his targets. 

WR 1 – Terry McLaurin – McLaurin participated 23.7% of the snaps

WR 2 – Jahan Dotson– Dotson was the 16th pick in the 1st round out of Penn State. He is 5-11, 178 pounds and ran a 4.43 40-yard dash. Dotson participated in 35.5% of the routes. 

WR 3 – Curtis Samuel – Samuel participated in 19.4% of the routes. 

WR 4 – Dyami Brown – Brown participated in 31.2% of the routes. 

WR 5 – Cam Sims– Sims participated in 28% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Alex Erickson – Erickson and Milne are seemingly battling for the final WR roster spot, which will also be the punt returner. Erickson participated in 37.6% of the routes. 

WR 7 – Dax Milne – Milne participated in 32.3% of the routes. 

WR 8 – Marken Michel – Michel participated in 24.7% of the routes. 

WR 9 – Kyric McGowan – McGowan is a UDFA out of Georgia Tech. He is 5-11, 200 pounds and ran a 4.59 40-yard dash. McGowan participated in 29% of the routes. 

WR 10 – Matt Cole – Cole hasn’t played this preseason. 

TE 1- Logan Thomas – Thomas is rehabbing a torn ACL.

TE 2 – John Bates – Bates hasn’t played this preseason. He has been working on the side field as recently as Aug. 17. 

TE 3  – Cole Turner – Turner was drafted 149th overall in the 5th round out of Nevada. He is 6-7, 246 pounds and ran a 4.52 40-yard dash. Turner is dealing with a hamstring injury and hasn’t played this preseason.

TE 4 – Armani Rogers – Rogers is a UDFA out of Ohio. He is 6-5, 225 pounds and ran a 4.58. He is a former college quarterback and now going through a position change. He has been excelling with all of the TE injuries around him. He played 57 snaps, participated in 36.6% of the routes. 

TE 5 – Curtis Hodges– Hodges is a UDFA out of Arizona State. He is 6-8, 257 pounds and ran a 4.85 40-yard dash. Hodges played 29 snaps and ran 29 routes in Week 1. He caught 3 of 5 targets for 11 yards. Hodges missed Week 2. 

TE 6 – Kendall Blanton – signed Aug. 21

Baltimore Ravens

QB 1 – Lamar Jackson – Jackson  is out for the preseason Week 1. 

QB 2 – Tyler Huntley – Huntley played 63 snaps, completing 29 of 32 passes for 238 yards and 2 TDs. He also has 26 rushing yards. 

QB 3 – Anthony Brown – Brown is a UDFA out of Oregon. He completed 64.1% of his passes for 2,989 yards, 19 TDs, and 7 INTs. Brown also rushed 151 times for 658 rushing yards and 9 scores in 2021. He played 57 snaps, completing 20 of 28 passes for 208 yards, 2 TDs, and 1 INT. Brown also has 14 rushing yards. 

RB 1 – JK Dobbins – Dobbins tore his ACL last year. He returned to practice on Aug. 8, but he won’t play in the preseason

RB 2 – Gus Edwards – Edwards tore his ACL last year.

RB 3 – Mike Davis – Davis played 25 snaps, rushing 11 times and catching his only target. 

RB 4 – Justice Hill – Hill played 30 snaps, rushing 8 times and catching his only target. 

RB 5 – Tyler Badie – Badie was the 197th pick in the 6th round of the 2022 NFL Draft out of Missouri. He is 5-8, 197 pounds and profiles as a pass catching back. Badie rushed 268 times for 1,604 yards and caught 54 passes for 330 yards in 2021. He played 45 snaps, rushing 18 times and catching 3 of 4 targets. 

RB 6 – Nate McCrary – McCray rushed 42 times for 163 yards and a score with Baltimore last year. He came out of Saginaw Valley State in 2021. McCrary played 18 snaps, rushing 6 times and catching his only target. 

RB 8 – Patrick Ricard – Full Back

RB 9 – Ben Mason – Fullback, but he played 49 snaps already this preseason. 

WR 1 – Rashod Bateman – Bateman hasn’t played this preseason. 

WR 2 – James Proche – Proche hasn’t played this preseason. 

WR 3 – Devin DuvernayDuvernay hasn’t played this preseason. 

WR 4 – Tylan Wallace – Wallace played 14 snaps in Week 1 before missing Week 2. 

WR 5 – Shemar Bridges – Bridges is a UDFA out of Fort Valley State. He is 6-5, 210 pounds and caught 28 balls for 292 yards in 4 games last year. Beat reporter Jeff Zrebiec noted that Bridges has been awesome in camp. He participated in 42.5% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Binjimen Victor – Victor participated in 34.3% of the routes. 

WR 7 – Makai Polk – Polk is a UDFA out of Mississippi State. He is 6-3, 195 pounds and caught 105 balls for 1,046 yards last year. Polk participated in 60.3% of the routes. 

WR 8 – Raleigh Webb – Webb is a UDFA out of Citadel. He is 6-2, 204 pounds and caught 25 balls for 536 yards in 11 games last year. Webb participated in 43.8% of the routes. 

WR 9 – Demarcus Robinson – signed Aug. 19 and hasn’t played with the team yet. 

TE 1- Mark Andrews – Andrews hasn’t played this preseason. 

TE 2 – Nick Boyle – Boyle is practicing limited days. He played 21 snaps in Week 2 of the preseason. 

TE 3 – Josh Oliver – Oliver played 69 snaps and participated in 39.7% of the routes. 

TE 4 – Charlie Kolar – not practicing (sports hernia)

TE 5 – Isaiah Likely – Likely was the 139th pick in the 4th Round of the NFL Draft. He is 6-5, 245 pounds and caught 59 balls for 912 yards with Coastal Carolina last year. He played 42 snaps with 39.7% of the routes. 

TE 6 – Tony Poljan – Poljan played 29 snaps, but he hasn’t seen a target yet. 

K 1 – Justin Tucker

Philadelphia Eagles

QB 1 – Jalen Hurts – Huts completed all 6 of his passes for 80 yards and 1 TD on 8 snaps. He did not play in Week 2. The starters aren’t expected to play here. 

QB 2 – Gardner Minshew – Minshew played 74 snaps, completing 22 of 29 passes for 223 yards. He also has 11 rushing yards. 

QB 3 – Reid Sinnett – Sinnett played 54 snaps, completing 13 of 26 passes for 150 yards and 2 TDs. He has 19 rushing yards. 

QB 4 – Carson Strong – Strong is a UDFA out of Nevada. He is 6-3, 226 and non-mobile. Strong played 8 snaps in Week 2 after not playing in Week 1. 

RB 1 – Miles Sanders – Sanders played 8 snaps in Week 1 and missed Week 2. 

RB 2 – Boston Scott – Scott missed Week 1, but played 14 snaps in Week 2. He rushed 10 times and caught his only target. 

RB 3 – Kenneth GainwellGainwell missed Week 1, but he played 19 snaps in Week 2. He rushed 11 times without a target in the pass game. 

RB 4 – Jason Huntley – Huntley played 59 snaps, rushing 24 times and catching 4 of 5 targets.

WR 3 – Quez Watkins – Watkins participated in 25.3% of the routes. 

WR 4 – Zach Pascal – Pascal participated in 25.3% of the routes. 

WR 5 – Jalen Reagor – Reagor participated in 35.4% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Greg Ward – Ward hasn’t played yet this preseason. 

WR 7 –  Britain Covey – Covey is a UDFA out of Utah. He is 5-8, 170 pounds and ran a 4.43 40-yard dash. Covey has been getting some runs with the 1st team due to injuries. He is also making a case to be the primary kick returner. Covey played 24 snaps and ran 15 routes in Week 1. He has a thumb injury, and missed Week 2. 

WR 8 – John Hightower – Hightower missed Week 1, but he played 35 snaps in Week 2. 

WR 9 – Deon Cain – Cain participated in 57% of the routes. 

WR 10 – Devon Allen – Allen is a UDFA out of Oregon. He is 6-0, 185 pounds and ran a 4.35 40-yard dash. Allen participated in 12.7% of the routes. 

TE 1- Dallas Goedert – Goedert played 8 snaps with the first team in Week 1 before missing Week 2. 

TE 2 – Jack Stoll – Stoll played 59 snaps and participated in 25.3% of the routes.

TE 4 – Grant Calcaterra – Calcaterra was the 199th pick of the 6th round out of SMU/Oklahoma. Calcaterra is 6-4, 241 pounds and ran a 4.62 40-yard dash. Calcaterra returned to practice Aug. 19, but he still hasn’t played in the preseason. 

TE 5 – Richard Rodgers – Rodgers played 46 snaps and participated in 10.1% of the routes. 

TE 6 – Noah Togiai – Togiai is 6-4, 246 pounds and UDFA out of Oregon State in 2020. He caught 44 balls for 404 yards in his final season. Togiai played 79 snaps and participated in 41.8% of the routes.

QB 1 – Tua Tagovailoa – Tagovailoa did not play in Week 1, but he played 13 snaps last week. He completed 6 of 8 passes for 58 yards. 

QB 2 – Teddy Bridgewater – Bridgewater did not play in Week 1, but he played 29 snaps in Week 2. He completed 10 of 22 passes for 125 yards. 

QB 3 – Skylar Thompson – Thompson was drafted 248th overall in the 7th Round out of Kansas State. Thompson completed 69.5% of his passes for 9 yards per attempt last year. He was hurt last year, but he rushed for 405 yards in 2019. Thompson played 60 snaps, completing  29 of 38 passes for 347 yards and 2 TDs. He has 26 rushing yards as well. 

RB 1 – Chase Edmonds – Edmonds did not play in Week 1, but he played 10 snaps in Week 2. He rushed 3 times and caught both targets.

RB 3 – Darrel Williams –  He is 27 years old and rushed 144 times for 558 yards last regular season. He also caught 47 of 57 targets for another 452 yards with Kansas City last year. Williams has just 4 snaps this preseason.

RB 5 – Keaontay Ingram – Ingram was the 202nd pick in the 6th round out of USC/Texas. He is 6-0, 221 pounds and ran a 4.53 40-yard dash. He rushed 156 times for 911 yards and caught 22 passes in his final year with USC. Ingram played 44 snaps, rushing 11 times and catching 4 of 5 targets.

RB 4 – Darrynton Evans – Evans was the 93rd pick of the 3rd round out of Appalachian State in 2020 to the Titans. He has been hurt every year so far. Evans played 46 snaps, rushing 15 times and catching 5 of 8 targets. 

RB 5 – De’Montre Tuggle – Tuggle is a UDFA out of Ohio. He is 5-10, 198 pounds and ran a 4.59 40-yard dash at his pro day. Tuggle rushed for 804 yards on 138 carries and caught 16 passes in a timeshare last year. He played 30 snaps, rushing 18 times without a target. 

RB 6 – Khari Blasingame – Blasingame is a fullback, but played 4 snaps. 

WR 1 – Darnell Mooney – Mooney participated in 23% of routes. 

WR 2 – Byron Pringle – Pringle hasn’t played yet this preseason. 

WR 3 – N’Keal Harry – Harry underwent ankle surgery and he is out indefinitely.

WR 3 – David Bell Bell was the 99th pick in the 3rd Round coming out of Purdue. He is 6-1, 212 pounds and caught 93 balls for 1,286 yards last year. He was a true freshman breakout, but he ran a 4.60 40-yard dash, dropping him to the 3rd Round. Bell had been dealing with a stress fracture in his foot, causing him to miss Week 1. However, he played 23 snaps in Week 2. 

WR 4 – Anthony Schwartz – Schwartz participated in 29.2% of the routes. 

WR 5 – Javon Wims – Wims participated in 34.7% of the routes.  

WR 6 – Ja’Marcus Bradley – Bradley participated in 47.2% of the routes.

RB 3 – Rachaad White – White was the 91st overall pick in the 3rd round out of Arizona State. White caught 43 passes and rushed for 1,000 yards in his final year with Arizona State. He was originally a JUCO guy. White played 34 snaps, rushing 13 times and catching 3 of 4 targets. 

RB 4 – Ke’Shawn Vaughn – Vaughn played 39 snaps, rushing 20 times and catching both of his targets. 

RB 5 – Patrick Laird – signed Aug. 15 with Kenjon Barner on injured reserve. Laird played 10 snaps in Week 2, rushing just 1 time. 

WR 1 – Mike Evans – Evans won’t play after injuring his hamstring on Aug. 5. He missed practice on Aug. 18

WR 1 – Michael Pittman – Pittman played 19 snaps and ran 11 routes in Week 1. He caught 2 of 3 targets for a team-leading 30 yards. Pittman didn’t play in Week 2. 

WR 2 – Alec Pierce – Pierce was drafted 53rd overall in the second round out of Cincinnati. He is 6-3, 211 pounds and ran a 4.41 40-yard dash. He wasn’t highly recruited and played volleyball. His late transition to football contributed to a lack of production at Cincinnati. Pierce participated in 34.2% of the routes. 

WR 3 – Parris Campbell – Campbell participated in 20.3% of the snaps. 

WR 4 – Ashton Dulin – Dulin participated in 12.7% of the snaps. 

WR 5 – Dezmon Patmon – Patmon is a former 6th round pick out of Washington State. He stands 6-4, 228 pounds. Patmon participated in 53.2% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Keke Coutee – Coutee is a former 4th round pick. He is 5-11, 180 pounds and ran a 4.43 40-yard dash. Coutee played 8 snaps and ran 5 routes in Week 1. He missed practice on Aug. 16 and didn’t play in Week 2. 

WR 7 – Michael Strachan – Strachan is another 6-5, 224 pound receiver, who played at Charleston before coming out in 2021. He has been rehabbing his knee following an offseason injury. Strachan was activated from PUP on Aug. 15 and immediately went into full practice as of Aug. 16. He played 27 snaps in his preseason debut. 

WR 8 – DeMichael Harris – Harris did not play in Week 1, but he returned to practice on Aug. 16. He played 22 snaps in his debut. 

WR 9 – Samson Nacua – Nacua is a UDFA out of BYU. He is 6-3, 195 pounds and ran a 4.48 40-yard dash. Nacua has been pretty deep on the depth chart and working with Coan. He participated in 25.3% of the routes. 

WR 10 – Ethan Fernea – Fernea is a UDFA out of UCLA. He is 6-0, 195 pounds and ran a 4.37 40-yard dash at his pro day. He never really got on the field with UCLA. He participated in 17.7% of the routes. 

TE 1- Mo Alie-Cox – Alie-Cox played 15 snaps and ran 7 routes. He wasn’t targeted and didn’t play in Week 2. 

TE 2 – Kylen Granson – Granson played 37 snaps and participated in 26.6% of the snaps. 

TE 3 – Jelani Woods – Woods was the 73rd overall pick in the 3rd Round out of Virginia. He is 6-7, 269 pounds and ran a 4.61 40-yard dash. Woods has been working with Foles and reports are that Ogletree might actually be ahead of him. He played 42 snaps and participated in 27.9% of the routes. 

TE 4 – Michael Jacobson – Jacobson did not play last preseason after coming out of Iowa State as a basketball player. He played 24 snaps and participated in 17.7% of the routes.  

TE 5 – Nikola Kalinic – Kalinic is a UDFA out of York (Canada). He is 6-4, 245 pounds and ran a 4.79 40-yard dash. He played in the CFL for the Hamilton Tiger Cats from 2019-2022. Kalinic played 12 snaps and participated in 7.6% of the routes. 

K 1 – Rodrigo Blankenship

Minnesota Vikings

QB 1 – Kirk Cousins – Cousins will not play this preseason. 

QB 2 – Sean Mannion – Mannion played 60 snaps, completing 18 of 27 passes for 144 yards. 

QB 3 – Kellen Mond – Mond played 54 snaps, completing 19 of 34 passes for 201 yards, 2 TDs, and 2 INTs. He is mobile,but only has 9 rushing yards this preseason. 

QB 4 – Nick Mullens – Traded to Minnesota on Aug. 22. 

RB 1 – Dalvin Cook – Cook won’t play this preseason. 

RB 2 – Alexander Mattison – Mattison played 16 snaps, rushing 

RB 3 – Kene Nwangwu – Nwangwu is 6-1, 210 pounds with a 4.32 40-yard dash. He was behind David Montgomery and Breece Hall, but still hasn’t gotten a chance at RB. He played 33 snaps, rushing 9 times and catching 4 of 5 targets. 

RB 4 – Ty Chandler – Chandler was the 169th pick of the 5th round out of North Carolina. He is 5-11, 204 pounds and ran a 4.38 40-yard dash. He had at least 15 catches each of the last two years. He also rushed for 1,092 yards in his final season. Chandler played 20 snaps, rushing 10 times and catching his only target. 

RB 5 – Bryant Koback – Koback is a UDFA out of Toledo. He is 6-0, 210 pounds and ran a 4.47 40-yard dash. He rushed for 1,400 yards and caught 30 passes in his final year with the Rockets. Koback played 34 snaps, rushing 7 times and catching 2 of 4 targets. 

RB 6 – CJ Ham – Ham is a fullback and played 1 snap in Week 1. 

WR 1 – Justin Jefferson – Jefferson won’t play this preseason. 

WR 2 – Adam Thielen – Thielen won’t play this preseason. 

WR 3 – KJ Osborn – Osborn played 8 snaps and ran 5 routes. He caught his only target. Osborn did not play in Week 2. 

WR 4 – Bisi Johnson – Johnson participated in 52.9% of the routes. 

WR 5 – Ihmir Smith-Marsette – Smith-Marsette participated in 51.5% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Jalen Nailor – Nailor was the 191st pick of the 6th round out of Michigan State. He is 5-11, 186 pounds and ran a 4.50 40-yard dash. Nailor participated in 35.3% of the routes. 

WR 7 – Trishton Jackson – Jackson participated in 38.2% of the routes. 

WR 8 – Myron Mitchell – Mitchell participated in 38.2% of the routes. 

WR 9 – Dan Chisena – Chisena played 8 snaps and ran 5 routes. He caught 1 of 2 targets for 22 yards. Chisena missed position drills on Aug. 18 and didn’t play in Week 2. 

WR 10 – Blake Proehl – Proehl was a 2021 UDFA out of East Carolina. He is 6-1, 186 pounds and ran a 4.47 40-yard dash. Proehl is on PUP. 

TE 1- Irv Smith – Smith is out for the preseason after undergoing thumb surgery. 

TE 2 – Ben Ellefson – Ellefson played 36 snaps with a 17.7% route rate. 

TE 3 – Johnny Mundt – Mundt on 69 of his 102 offensive snaps, despite being 6-4, 233 pounds. He played 8 snaps and ran 5 routes in Week 1 before missing Week 2. 

TE 4 – Nick Muse – Muse was drafted 228th overall in the 7th round out of South Carolina. He is 6-5, 249 pounds and ran a 4.71 40-yard dash. He played 17 snaps with a 13.2% route rate. 

TE 5 – Zach Davidson – Davidson played 69 snaps with a 60.3% route rate. 

K 1 – Greg Joseph

Denver Broncos

QB 1 – Russell Wilson – The starters aren’t expected to play the rest of preseason. 

QB 2 – Brett Rypien – Rypien played 68 snaps, completing 

QB 3 – Josh Johnson – Johnson played 66 snaps, completing 

RB 1 – Javonte Williams – Williams did not play in Week 1 or 2. 

RB 2 – Melvin Gordon – Gordon returned to practice from his foot injury. He hasn’t played this preseason. 

RB 3 – Mike Boone – Bonne played 31 snaps, rushing 

RB 4 – JaQuan Hardy – Signed Aug 12. He played 37 snaps, rushing 

RB 5 – Devine Ozigbo – Signed this week to replace Stevie Scott. 

RB 6 – Andrew Beck – H-Back, but he played 16 snaps. 

RB 7 – Devine Ozigbo – signed Aug. 22

WR 1 – Courtland Sutton – Sutton returned to practice on Aug. 11 after suffering a slight shoulder injury earlier in camp. He isn’t expected to play this preseason. 

WR 2 – Jerry Jeudy – He isn’t expected to play this preseason. 

WR 3 – KJ Hamler – Hamler is coming off a torn ACL. He returned to practice Aug. 18, but he isn’t expected to play.

WR 4 – Seth Williams – Williams participated in 39% of the routes. 

WR 5 – Kendall Hinton – Hinton participated in 31.6% of the routes. 

WR 6 – Tyrie Cleveland – Cleveland missed practice on Aug. 17 and hasn’t played yet this preseason. 

WR 7 – Montrell Washington – Washington was the 162nd pick in the 5th round out of Samford. He is 5-9, 181 pounds and ran a 4.38 40-yard dash at his pro day. Washington has a 24.2% route rate. 

WR 8 – Brandon Johnson – Johnson is a UDFA out of UCF. He is 6-2, 195 pounds and ran a 4.61 40-yard dash. Johnson has a 29.5% route rate. 

WR 9 – Jalen Virgil – Virgil is a UDFA out of Appalachian State. He is 6-1, 210 pounds and ran a 4.37 at his pro day. Virgil has a 29.5% route rate. 

WR 10 – Darrius Shepherd – Shepherd played last preseason with Kansas City before playing in the USFL last year. He has a 32.6% route. 

TE 1- Albert Okwuegbunam – Okwuegbunam played 38 snaps with a 26.3% route rate. 

TE 2 – Eric Tomlinson – Tomlinson played 31 snaps with a 14.7% route rate. 

TE 3 – Greg Dulcich – Dulcich was the 80th pick in the 3rd Round out of UCLA. He is 6-4, 243 pounds and ran a 4.69 40-yard dash. Dulcich returned to practice on Aug. 18 from a hamstring injury. He “should be ready to go next week”. 

TE 4 – Eric Saubert – Saubert played 43 snaps with a 24.2% route rate. 

TE 5 – Dylan Parham – Parham is a UDFA out of NC State. He is 6-5, 245 pounds and ran a 4.93 40-yard dash. Parham only ran 83 routes on 360 snaps last year. He played 41 snaps with a 25.3% route rate.
