Week 10 Yahoo Daily Fantasy Football Picks Based on Awesemo’s Top Grades & Values

Week 10 of the NFL is here, and Awesemo has a ton of great tools and NFL DFS rankings to tackle all the largest contests in DFS. This article will go through and highlight some of the week’s highest-projected Yahoo NFL picks at each position on the Week 10 main slate, all based on Awesemo’s projections and models. It will also provide insight into rostership projections and provide some other matchup information for optimal Yahoo NFL picks for daily fantasy lineups each week.

Week 10 Yahoo NFL Picks, Grades & Values

Top Graded QB: Justin Herbert | Grades: A, Values: B

The Chargers have a 28-point implied team total this week so Justin Herbert should give us some interest at just $31 on Yahoo. As you might expect, he rates out as one of the best values among the top-tier quarterbacks on Awesemo and is fifth, overall, in the points projections on the model this week too. The Vikings are just 19th in terms of yards per pass attempt against and have allowed an average of 294 yards and 2.5 passing touchdowns against in their last two games. Attacking with Herbert and one of his wide-outs is a fine way to begin this week’s DFS roster builds.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 18.6%

Top Value QB: Matt Ryan | Grades: C, Values: A

The Cowboys and Falcons has a 54.5 game total attached to it and also has a team in the Falcons who are +8.0 underdogs. Given the Falcons already attempt 38 passes per game (9th most in the NFL) Matt Ryan has a great chance here to potentially have 40-plus dropbacks in this spot. He’s been very productive over the last five or six weeks, going for well over 20 fantasy points on Yahoo in three of his last five games, and has also landed a 70% or greater completion rate in three of his last four games as well. Ryan’s the highest-projected quarterback this week with an “A” grade in the value score on Awesemo, making him one of the best pay-down options at his position.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 8.6%

Top Graded RB: Jonathan Taylor | Grades: A, Values: D

Things are tight at the top of the Awesemo running back ratings this week and with massive chalk piling on just a few plays, I don’t mind taking the very sensible rostership attached to Jonathan Taylor here instead. Taylor ranks third in the point projections on the main slate but is less than a point behind first place. Taylor is more of a big play reliant running back than several other of the work horse backs available to us this week but all he does lately is make big plays and is averaging just under 6 yards per carry on the year. The price is big, but paying for lower rostership here is worth it on a player with Taylor’s upside.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 16.4%

Top Value RB: D’Ernest Johnson | Grades: A, Values: A

D’Ernest Johnson has hit perfect storm status this week as a DFS play. He’s available at backup running back prices and now has the entire Cleveland backfield to himself for Week 10. The fire is only flamed here by the fact he produced 23.50 Yahoo points just three weeks ago when he was in this same position in a Thursday Night game. Johnson doesn’t just rate out here as the best value of the week but also tops the Awesemo points projections at running back. Game theory may say fade him in big fields but the projections and grades here also say you’re only hurting yourself by not getting some exposure to Johnson this week.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 51.2%

Top Graded WR: Diontae Johnson | Grades: A, Values: B

From one Johnson to another, Diontae Johnson will also be getting an injury kind of bump here as the Steelers will be without Chase Claypool this week in their home game against Detroit. Johnson was already averaging over 8 targets per game but could be set for a monstrous workload against a Detroit defense that is actually pretty decent against the run but is league worst in yards per pass attempt against. Johnson rates out second in the main slate points projections this week on Awesemo and has the best combined points/value grade on the site this week.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 12.9%

Latest NFL DFS Content

Top Value WR: Tyler Lockett | Grades: B, Values: B

With Russell Wilson back this week, it is likely time to remember that Tyler Lockett does in fact still exist and play in the NFL. He endured a rough stretch of five games in a row with under 9 fantasy points before finding some chemistry against Jacksonville with Geno Smith. Wilson and Lockett are still one of the best quarterback-wide receiver duos in the league and Lockett’s $20 price here simply doesn’t reflect the fact that Wilson is throwing the ball vs. Smith. Lockett’s got the second best value score of any wide receiver over $20 this week on Yahoo and isn’t projecting with huge rostership either. He’s an élite value in a game that has an over/under creeping up to 50.00.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 8.9%

Top Graded TE: Dalton Schultz | Grades: A, Values: B

The Cowboys have the largest implied team total on the slate at 32.00 so it’s not shocking to see some of their players up in the rankings this week. One Dallas player really popping here is Dalton Schultz, who comes second in tight end projections on the main slate, and also carries the best value score at the position. Schultz has seen at least five targets in each of his last six games and has rostership that is still hovering below 10%, which should make him a great stacking target this week too (with many Dallas stacks only targeting the tight-end position).

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 9.2%

Top Value TE: Jared Cook | Grades: C, Values: C

There’s not a ton of cheap value options popping at tight end but one player who has been fairly reliable of late is the Chargers Jared Cook. Cook is playing only about 50% of the snaps very week but he has managed to catch four or more balls in three of his last five games now. Cook has the second-best value rating on the main slate this week and is a player to think about adding when making Chargers stacks this week. His rostership is up a little but still isn’t projecting above 10%.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 9.2%
