Yahoo Week 15 Grades and Values for NFL Daily Fantasy

Awesemo has a ton of great tools and NFL DFS rankings to tackle all the largest contests in DFS. This article will go through and highlight some of the week’s highest-projected Yahoo NFL picks at each position on the Week 15 main slate. It will also provide insight into rostership projections and provide some other matchup information for optimal Yahoo NFL picks for daily fantasy lineups each week.

Week 15 Yahoo NFL Picks, Grades & Values

Top Graded QB: Josh Allen $34 | Grades: A, Values: B

The Bills offense has not been ravaged by COVID as of yet, and that means Josh Allen and Stefon Diggs will be out there this week against a Carolina defense that has posted the seventh worst yards per pass attempt against mark over the last three games. Allen practiced in full on Friday and looks set to start for the Bills in what has become nearly a must-win game for a playoff spot. Allen rushed for over 100 yards in his last start and is the top play at quarterback in the Awesemo projections. With such an unsettling week on tap due to the COVID issues around the league, Allen’s a fine pay-up option, even if he is looking like one of the chalkiest plays on the board.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 29.1%

Top Value QB: Tua Tagovailoa | Grades: B, Values: B

Tua Tagovailoa has strong projections this week at quarterback but does not carry near the same kind of rostership projections. He has quietly put together a strong second year and continues to throw the ball a lot each week with Miami averaging 38.5 pass attempts per game. The sentiment might be lower than expected due to Jaylen Waddle being on the COVID list, but the Dolphins are playing the Jets so the upside for players like Mike Gesicki and Albert Wilson is also heightened. Tagovailoa has the fifth-best points projection on Week 15’s main slate for quarterbacks and has the top value score at his position as well.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 7.3%

Top Graded RB: Najee Harris | Grades: B, Values: B

The running back position in Week 15 looks very bleak with few true bell-cows or studs to pay up for. However, Najee Harris is in a great spot and seems healthy. He is on pace to lead the league in snaps played and touches at his position so seeing him available at just $25 is a little shocking. The fact he plays one of the best run defenses in the league in Tennessee (2.8 yards per carry over their last three games) is slightly concerning but the volume he takes in the pass game still has him projecting as a top three play on this week’s main slate at running back.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 41.4%

Top Value RB: James Robinson $22 | Grades: B, Values: A

The Jaguars have obviously been in the news a little this week although not necessarily for COVID reasons. James Robinson looks relatively healthy (foot) and will almost certainly get a big workload in Week 15 that Carlos Hyde has been ruled out of the game vs. the Texans due to a concussion. Robinson’s usage had been held down recently by the strange coaching strategies employed by Urban Meyer and he should also get a boost from just having more competent coaches managing his usage in this game as well. He grades out very strongly this week with the top value score and points projection on the main slate and even has a palatable rostership projections at under 20% (as of writing).

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 15.6%

Top Graded WR: Cooper Kupp $38 | Grades: A, Values: D

It may feel like Groundhog Day again, but seeing Cooper Kupp top the Awesemo Projections at wide receiver should come as no shock at this point. He is seen a ridiculous 61 targets over his last five games alone and this week he may be the only true healthy weapon left on the Rams, who are dealing with one of the worst COVID outbreaks in the league as of writing. An improving Russell Wilson could also help keep the pressure on Los Angeles to throw more making Kupp a necessary pay-up option once again.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 21.7%

Top Value WR: DK Metcalf $21 | Grades: A, Values: B

As mentioned above, Russell Wilson has looked better over his last couple of starts. The Seahawks quarterback averaged 9.4 yards per attempt last week and completed several downfield throws that led to big gains. With Tyler Lockett likely to miss this week’s game it should mean more of those targets go to D.K. Metcalf who is overdue for a breakout with Wilson. Metcalf is always capable of a 100+ yards and a touchdown game (regardless of opponent) and will be facing a very short-handed Rams defense. He has the fifth-best value score at his position this week and is fourth in overall point projections at wideout too.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 11.6%

Top Graded TE: Mike Gesicki $19 | Grades: B, Values: C

One of the biggest benefactors from this week’s COVID news (from a fantasy perspective) could be Mike Gesicki. Jaylen Waddle is likely to miss Week 15 which means that there is likely going to be 8-9+ targets up for grabs for the remaining receivers on Miami. The Jets have also been a disaster vs. the tight end position allowing Dallas Goedert to go for over 100 yards and two touchdowns on just five catches last week. Gesicki is already averaging 7.0 targets a game and should get a boost. He has the second-best points projection at tight end on the main slate and faces a Jets defense that has allowed the eighth-most fantasy points against to his position.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 5.6%

Top Value TE: Kyle Pitts $14 | Grades: B, Values: B

The Falcons Kyle Pitts actually had a decent game last week, landing five catches and 61 yards on six targets. The efficiency with Pitts has been solid over the last couple of games and it is a little strange to see that his price has once again been lowered to a very affordable $14 on Yahoo. The projections on Pitts are not as bullish as they were at the start of the year, but he does carry the second-best value score on Awesemo. Pitts is a great value target and a player who should eventually add to his one receiving touchdown by the end of the season.

Projected NFL DFS Rostership: 7.6%
