Tonight the Tennessee Titans are hosting the Buffalo Bills for the Week 6 featured Monday Night Football matchup, and Yahoo Fantasy is offering NFL DFS single-game contests. The general concept of creating a team remains the same, but this is a one-game player pool. The twist is that any position player can be rostered, and one is designated to receive a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo fantasy points. Using Awesemo’s expert NFL projections and rankings, these are the top Yahoo NFL picks for the Monday Night Football game tonight.
Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 6 Monday Night Football
Top SUPERSTAR Options
The SUPERSTAR position will get a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points in the single-game format.
Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills – $37
This season Josh Allen has picked up right where he left off last year after making the leap to the elite quarterback level. Once again he is providing upside with his legs, running for at least 35 yards in four of five games this season. The Bills defense has been elite, including two shutouts this season, which has kept Allen from piling up the yardage (274 per game), though he has 12 touchdowns passing against just two interceptions. The addition of Emmanuel Sanders and the growth of Dawson Knox have allowed Allen to take whatever the defense gives him. Last year Stefon Diggs led the league in targets, receptions and yards, but he has yet to be unleashed this season.
Derrick Henry, Tennessee Titans – $38
The heavy workload is likely to catch up to Derrick Henry at some point this season. Tonight he will be facing his most difficult opponent yet in Buffalo, who has the best run and pass DVOA. The volume should be there as long as the game stays close. Coach Mike Vrabel will look to control the clock as much as possible, which could help Henry maintain his major role as long as the Bills do not roll up a couple of early touchdowns.
Yahoo NFL Core Picks
Emmanuel Sanders, Buffalo Bills – $20
The inconsistency of targets for Cole Beasley ($17) the last two weeks has been concerning to say the least. While this could change on a dime, he is headed in the wrong direction, with 13, four, 13, two and two targets through the first five games. Conversely, Emmanuel Sanders has had metronome-like consistency with eight, six, six, six and five targets in those same games. It is hard to count on continued touchdowns from Sanders, who has four in the last three games, particularly since Stefon Diggs ($34) has only one, which will not hold for much longer.
Zack Moss, Buffalo Bills – $18
Considering it will only take a couple dollars to upgrade from Devin Singletary ($16) to Zack Moss, this is an easy recommendation. These two are essentially interchangeable, but Moss has gone from being a surprise Week 1 inactive to getting half of the work and finally last week seeing nearly three-quarters of the opportunities. Moss should see 15 to 18 looks, while Singletary is relegated to 10 to 12. Touchdowns will be the big deciding factor, though Moss has the edge there 5-to-1.

Monday Night Discount Dandies
It just seems that the Titans receivers and tight ends are never going to be fully healthy at the same time. That and the Titans’ run-first mentality have each of these players sitting at the Yahoo minimum salary of $10. Julio Jones ($18) is expected to play tonight after missing time with a hamstring injury. A.J. Brown ($18) has been dealing with the same issue and was a surprise downgrade to questionable with an unspecified illness on Saturday afternoon.
Chester Rogers ($10) is dealing with a groin injury, though he will likely be in line for increased opportunities if Brown is out. Marcus Johnson ($10) saw his first action of the season last week and had five targets for three catches and 52 yards; he too will be on the radar if Brown is out. Josh Reynolds ($10) has been dealing with a foot injury, which kept him sidelined for the first three weeks. Though he only had one target last week, he saw nine in Week 4.
Anthony Firkser ($10) has three receptions in each of the three games he has played and is well ahead of MyCole Pruitt ($10) and Geoff Swaim ($10) from a fantasy perspective. Running back Jeremy McNichols ($10) is the only running back besides Henry to see meaningful snaps, but he sat out practice Friday or Saturday with an ankle issue. The inactive reports for tonight will need to be released before gamers can make appropriately informed decisions regarding this motley crew.
Final Thoughts
This should be a fun one, with Henry going against the best run defense in the league and Allen likely to produce against a porous pass defense. While there are no standout bargain options at this time, there are no fewer than eight players who could easily end up with multi-touchdown games.
