Tonight the Green Bay Packers are hosting the Chicago Bears in the Featured Sunday Night Football matchup, and Yahoo is offering NFL DFS single-game contests. The general concept of creating a team remains the same, but this is a one-game player pool. The twist is that any position player can be rostered, and one is designated to receive a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points. Using Awesemo’s expert NFL projections and rankings, these are the top Yahoo NFL picks for the Week 14 Sunday Night Football game tonight.
Yahoo NFL Picks: Week 14 Sunday Night Football
Top SUPERSTAR Options
The SUPERSTAR position will get a 1.5x multiplier on their Yahoo points in the single-game format. Awesemo’s NFL DFS optimizer creates daily fantasy football cheat sheets. Check out who is popping in the Yahoo NFL DFS cheat sheet for the Week 14 Sunday Night Football game.
Davante Adams, Green Bay Packers – $35
Tonight Davante Adams certainly has a lofty salary, though it is well deserved and he is the highest projected option on the board. Though he has just five touchdowns this season, he still has 14 or more Yahoo Fantasy points in half of his appearances. In his last two games he has been economical with 17 targets for 15 receptions, 219 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers – $31
This has been a solid season for Aaron Rodgers who is dealing with a toe issue that ultimately will require surgery. Green Bay has designs on a postseason run and they are sitting atop the NFC North at 9-3 and a victory tonight will give them a four game lead over Minnesota. Rodgers has a sterling 24 touchdowns against just three interceptions and he is just inside the top ten with 261.6 passing yards per game. Though he will need a multi-touchdown effort to be worth his salary, Chicago has allowed 8 of 12 opposing signal-callers to reach that mark this season.
Rodgers is one of the leading options for SUPERSTAR on Yahoo, but Chris Giordani has an even more in-depth look at his outlook tonight from a Player Prop standpoint in his Week 14 Sunday Night Football Prop Bet Breakdown.
Yahoo NFL Core Picks
David Montgomery, Chicago Bears – $21
There is an argument to be made that David Montgomery is worthy of the SUPERSTAR designation tonight. Green Bay has a bottom-five rushing DVOA. Since the Week 10 bye, rookie Khalil Herbert is the only other running back to get snaps, let alone see any opportunities at this position. In these three games, Montgomery has averaged nearly 22 combined carries and targets per outing while Herbert has had 3.1 per appearance. In his eight games, the Bears lead running back has logged three with at least 18 Yahoo Fantasy points including a season high 24.1 fantasy point last week against the Arizona Cardinals.

Justin Fields, Chicago Bears – $24
It seems like coach Matt Nagy would prefer to have rookie first rounder Justin Fields taped up with bubble wrap rather than playing behind the porous Chicago offensive line. Though Fields is more than capable with his feet, he does not get many designed runs and now that he is dealing with a rib injury it would be a shock if he sees anything other than a scramble on a broken play.
That said, tonight’s salary definitely accounts for a mid-teens fantasy point performance and although that is right where Awesemo is projecting him (14.46) there is still upside potential as touchdowns are fickle and they have a way of helping players eclipse median projections. Fields has been below 200 passing yards in all but one game, though he did log a career best 291 against the Steelers in Pittsburgh during a heartbreaking Week 9 loss.
A.J. Dillon, Green Bay Packers – $19
Even with Aaron Jones ($28) getting a little healthier every day after missing Week 11 with a wrenched knee, it is hard to see Green Bay running him into the ground tonight. That bodes well for second-year man A.J. Dillon to see another 15-20 opportunities tonight, particularly if the Packers are able to pull out to a multi-score lead. Even in a neutral situation, Dillon should see half the opportunities and while the high leverage ones are likely to go to Jones, the volume alone makes Dillon an intriguing option in all formats tonight.
Yahoo NFL Value Picks
Cole Kmet, Chicago Bears – $13
While fellow tight end Jimmy Graham ($11) is always circling as a red zone vulture, he only has 13 targets on the season. Cole Kmet on the other hand has 64 which is behind only Darnell Mooney ($18) who leads the team with 90. A full 75% of all targets to this position have been to Kmet so it is only a matter of time before he has another double digit fantasy point outing and that is nice upside for his near minimums salary tonight.
