NHL DFS Picks & Top Stacks | March 1
Salaries come from DraftKings
Top Stacks
Dallas Stars Line 1 – Joe Pavelski – Roope Hintz – Jason Robertson ($20,400)
This stack has an impressive 3.33 expected goals for per 60 minutes on moneypuck.com, and it has full correlation on the top power play. Additionally, the Stars have the highest implied Vegas total on the slate tonight, with 3.8 goals. They also have over 10% positive leverage in the Top Stacks Tool.
New Jersey Devils Line 2 – Yegor Sharangovich – Jack Hughes – Jesper Bratt ($17,600)
This stack has great even-strength numbers and is expected to have low ownership. The Devils’ opponent, the Avalanche, has allowed 3.2 expected goals per 60 minutes in its last 10 games, so the Devils could take advantage of the weaker defense.

Defensemen
Adam Fox, New York Rangers ($6,100)
Fox is one of the best puck-moving defensemen on the slate and quarterbacks the top power play unit for the Rangers. The Flyers have a below-average penalty kill, while the Rangers have a good power play, making Fox a strong play. He is also expected to have only 10% ownership.
Evan Bouchard, Edmonton Oilers ($3,500)
Bouchard is getting promoted to the top power play unit in light of the Tyson Barrie trade and is already a high-volume shooter. With more ice time and the opportunity to play with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, Bouchard is a solid one-off option or as an add-on to an Edmonton Oilers stack.
Goalie
Darcy Kuemper, Washington Capitals ($8,200)
Kuemper has a 2.8 implied total, one of the lowest numbers on the slate. Although his volume may be an issue, Kuemper has a great chance at a win on the road against the Ducks. If he does not start, Igor Shesterkin (if he plays) of the New York Rangers, priced at $8,100, is another strong option.
