NHL DFS Picks: Top Stacks
Florida Panthers Line 2 (Matthew Tkachuk – Eetu Luostarinen – Carter Verhaeghe, $18,600)
The Anaheim Ducks have allowed a staggering six, seven, seven and six goals in their last four games, making them arguably the best matchup in the league. Both of the top 2 lines for the Panthers will have high ownership, but the second line has better five-on-five numbers and over four expected goals for per 60 on Moneypuck.com. With the amazing matchup, it is fine eating the ownership in GPPs, as there are lower-owned players to add in the rest of lineups to get contrarian from the field. This line has a 27% chance of being a top-2 stack in Stokastic’s Top Stacks Tool, the second-highest chance of any stack on the slate.
New York Rangers Line 2 (Vladimir Tarasenko – Vincent Trocheck – Artemi Panarin, $15,900)
NYR2 is one of the best cheap secondary stacks on the slate and have a low 5% ownership on Stokastic. Panarin and Trocheck have solid 5v5 numbers together offensively, so adding in another quality goal scorer like Vladimir Tarasenko should only help their cause. Facing backup goalie David Rittich for the Winnipeg Jets, who may also be without Nikolaj Ehlers after he left yesterday’s game early with an injury, this line could be in for a big night.

NHL DFS Picks: Defensemen
Noah Dobson, New York Islanders ($5,700)
Dobson has been aggressive on the offensive end lately, attempting 7.6 shots over his last 5 games. He is also quarterbacking the top power play unit, making him an excellent play at his price point. The Penguins forward combinations are high event, so there could be plenty of chances for shot attempts again.
Travis Hamonic, Ottawa Senators ($3,700)
Hamonic is one of the top values in the Stokastic NHL DFS projections. He has a high floor, and the blocks bonus on DraftKings is well within reach because of how often Boston carries the play offensively.
NHL DFS Picks: Goaltenders
Carter Hart, Philadelphia Flyers ($7,200)
Hart needs a lot of shot volume to have high upside, and he is expected to see a lot of shots tonight according to Stokastic’s NHL DFS projections, with Hart projected for 29.8 saves, the second most on the slate. The Flames offense has disappointed in seemingly great spots plenty of times this season, and even when his defense lets him down, Hart has a knack for bailing them out. He also boasts an 84.5% high-danger save percentage according to Naturalstattrick.com, which is close to elite goalies like Ilya Sorokin and Igor Shesterkin.
