Welcome to the Awesemo Expert Golf Betting Picks for the final round of the 2022 Players Championship. It took a while for us to get here, and more golf than expected is going to be played on a Monday. Even with half of round three still to play, the betting market is open. We’ll cover a few different bets and options for the final round and a half of golf and try and find a winner out of it as well.
The odds-on favorite to win right now is Sam Buns (+750), who looked very good in spurts this week but struggled in his nine holes of round three. The leader by one right now, Anirban Lahiri (+1400), may have a chance to win the biggest event of his life in very unusual circumstances. Paul Casey (+850) has been a superb player for years but doesn’t have a marquee win on his resume; other than the back-to-back Valspar Championships, Casey will also have a chance at the biggest win of his career. Tom Hoge (+800) and Cameron Smith (+850) will each be looking for their second wins on the season. Daniel Berger (+1200) was close a few weeks ago at the Honda classic but failed to get it done. In all, this tournament is wide open, and with DraftKings offering odds from the winner thru top 20, they’ll be plenty of options to choose from.
Round 4 Golf Betting Picks Today | Arnold Palmer Invitational
Bet: Doug Ghim Round 3 Winner +2000
This is a fun one to start the card. Ghim, only three back, is staring at an eagle chip to start his day. If he gets up and down, he’ll be just two back of Lahiri’s lead. He’s played solidly all week and doesn’t have much longer odds to win the whole tournament (+2800). A way to invest in Ghim rising up the leaderboard throughout the final round.
Bet: Top Outright Candidate: Harold Varner 11/1
Some may recall that if Harold finishes out the third round strong and goes into the final round playing in the final group, it wouldn’t be the biggest spot of his career going into the final round. He was also in the final group at the PGA Championship when it was played at Bethpage a few years back, something to draw on for sure if it ends up that way tomorrow. It’s been a tough road for him to win on the top levels of professional golf, but a breakthrough in Saudia Arabia this year should give him the confidence to know he can get it done against the world’s best. He and Daniel Berger 12/1 along with Justin Thomas 14/1 and Cameron Smith 10/1 provide a strong foundation when looking for at least a 2.5x return if one of the four wins.

Bet: Deep Shot Outrights &Â Each WaysÂ
A few golfers are worthy of at least some consideration at such high odds. One, Patton Kizzire is 75/1Â to win is just four back heading into the final round, having already played the back nine. Tyrrell Hatton 50/1 is in a similar position, but his odds are considerably shorter than Kizzire’s. Jon Rahm (75/1) hasn’t played crisp all week, however with one of the most accessible holes in front of him still to play; it’s hard to count out the best player in the world. Lastly, Abrham Ancer (75/1) had a rough go of it during his nine of holes round three, but a fresh restart in the morning and one of a few golfers that have nine holes of golf left his top 10 odds at 7/1 and top 20 odds at +140 seem appealing.
