This under home run prop is pretty strong at -800, as Joey Bart has six home runs this season. Bart has a career-best 1.76 ISO, but his 43.6% strikeout rate is extremely alarming. Dodgers starter Mitch White has eight starts under his belt and a pretty impressive 1.20 HR/9 allowed. His batted-ball hard-hit rate is down to 30.3%, which is also a nice asset to have. White has pitched well this season and should have no trouble not allowing a long ball to Bart this evening. Bart is projected to bat in the nine-hole, which should also limit his at-bats.

Tarik Skubal Under 6.5 Strikeouts (-155) | Get $200 FREE

The biggest favorite in this parlay is Tarik Skubal under 6.5 strikeouts in his matchup against the Athletics, who have a 3.2 implied run total. Skubal has had a pretty good season, with a very impressive 0.80 HR/9 and a 24.7% strikeout rate. His matchup against the Athletics suits him very well, as they rank seventh in total strikeout rate and second-to-last in runs scored. Skubal leads the Tigers in wins, innings pitched and strikeouts this season. That is not saying much since the Tigers have really struggled with a record of 37-55. Regardless, Stokastic’s MLB Betting Model has Skubal projected for 5.7 strikeouts tonight, which is well below this prop number. He has only thrown seven or more strikeouts once in his last seven starts and five times total in his 18 starts this season. Seven strikeouts are a lot regardless of the matchup.

In his first season with the Giants, Carlos Rodon is picking up right where he left off in 2021. He has a 2.26 ERA and a 30.8% strikeout rate. Pair that with a career-best 0.34 HR/9 and it should be no surprise Rodon has a winning record for the second straight season. Stokastic’s MLB Betting Model has Rodon projected for 7.4 strikeouts, which is towering over this strikeout prop by nearly one full strikeout. Playing the Dodgers is always a tall task. They are second behind the Yankees in total runs scored this season and only rank 18th in strikeout rate. Even though this is a difficult matchup, this is a bet on Rodon. He leads the Giants in strikeouts and ERA while getting over seven or more strikeouts in six of his last seven starts. Don’t be intimidated by the matchup; simply ride the hot right arm of Rodon tonight.
