NBA Picks & Parlays Tonight: Best Longshot Bets & Player Props Friday 2/4/22

The NBA features nine games this evening with plenty of star power and plenty of high totals. There is a game or two that would be wise to stay away from because of players potentially sitting, which can always throw the odds into chaos after the fact.

This is a perfect opportunity to use Awesemo OddsShopper to make some of the best NBA parlay picks today. Using this fantastic site and basketball betting tips can help place smart wagers in an easy-to-use fashion and maximize the ROI on the wagers. It is truly betting made simple, as it guides you in how to bet on sports, helping you find the best bet in 30 seconds or less.

Longshot NBA Parlay Picks & Player Props Today

The first step is finding the brand new Parlay Builder for OddsShopper. It is located on the top banner and is just one click away. This tool is a game-changer because the Awesemo data scientists have built the parlay already. The user has the choice of what type of parlay they prefer to chase, and the state is customizable along with the sportsbook. Though it is rare, underdogs eventually have their day, and when they do, the payouts are nice. Here are our best bets for underdogs if you like to fade the favorites and cheer for the upset at high odds. As a reminder, betting the props individually is always a smart way to build your bankroll. An underdog parlay is not exactly the most stable return if it is always being bet just as a parlay. Let’s find out what the best-projected bets are for Friday and build some NBA parlay picks on OddsShopper!

Matisse Thybulle Over 1.5 Steals

The Philadelphia 76ers travel to Dallas to face the Mavericks tonight and Matisse Thybulle has been playing some big minutes lately for Philadelphia. He has played at least 29 minutes in four of the past five games and has been on the floor for at least 33 minutes in three of those contests. He is averaging 1.8 steals per game, which makes him tied for ninth-most in the league. From a team perspective, Dallas takes care of the ball since they rank second in turnovers per game but Luka Doncic does not help those ratios. He averages over four turnovers per game. This is something that Thybulle can take advantage of in this spot, as he is projected for 1.8. With a +130 ROI and an expected win rate of 64%, this is a worthy gamble and addition to the parlay.

Anfernee Simons Over 5.5 Assists

The assists per game for Anfernee Simons sit at just 3.7 for the season, but those numbers include games that Damian Lillard played. That will continue to not be the case tonight when the Portland Trail Blazers host the Oklahoma City Thunder. Simons has an assist rate of 22.5% when Lillard is missing, the second-highest rate on the team. Lillard last played on Dec. 31st and since then, Simons has averaged 13.5 potential assists per game with 36.4 passes made. Even if the sample size is reset to include only games C.J. McCollum has played in since coming back on Jan. 17, Simons is still at 11.9 assists per game and the passes made are 35.7. The expected win rate is the highest of the parlay at 70%. Simons is projected for 5.9 assists tonight.

Eric Gordon Over 2.5 Assists

As far as scoring potential, the San Antonio Spurs hosting the Houston Rockets is the clear winner of the evening. The total in this game is 236.4, with both teams in the top five in pace on the season and the bottom 10 in defensive rating. Eric Gordon has had his name in trade rumors these past couple of weeks but he is still logging 30 minutes or more. Even when the Rockets are healthy, he has an assist rate of 15.8%. Gordon is averaging three assists per game and he likely would not be upset to go to a better team, adding some motivation to bring his best game right now. The expected win rate is 55% and he is projected for 2.9 assists in what is expected to be the best game environment of the night.

Evan Mobley Under 2.5 Assists

The Cleveland Cavaliers continue to deal with major injuries as Darius Garland is not yet back in the lineup and they are down to starting Brian Goodwin at point guard. Still, Evan Mobley is not a facilitator in the offense as he averages just 2.6 assists per game and has an assist rate under 15% on the season. The Charlotte Hornets do offer one of the softest matchups in the league for any skilled big man but that could result in a game similar to the last for Mobley, where he scored 29 points and added 12 rebounds, but only dished two assists. The majority of his passes made have been to Garland or Ricky Rubio, which means he is passing back to the guard often and the ball gets distributed from there. Even against the Hornets, the expected win rate is 69% and the Awesemo Parlay Calculator gives a return of +2502 for the four-leg parlay tonight.
