Best NBA Picks and Parlays Tonight

The first step is locating the new Parlay Builder tab on the OddsShopper home page, which is very simple to do. After that, the user can customize to their heart’s content. OddsShopper offers the parlay bets by state, sportsbooks and a variety of parlays. This article will be featuring the Prop Party Parlay, which gives up to five player prop bets that will give you the best chance to win based on our Awesemo simulations. The prop party is the most popular betting combo within the Awesemo community and Alex “Awesemo” Baker, the world’s No. 1 daily fantasy player, uses these almost exclusively when he is looking for an edge. It is always a smart idea to bet each wager as a solo piece as a way to build the bankroll. Parlays by their nature are harder to hit, which is why the reward is so large. Wednesday’s version of the Prop Party features four wagers as of 1:00 p.m. on the Caesars Sportsbook, so be sure to check for any updates.

Best NBA picks and parlays and expert basketball betting predictions tonight Wednesday 2/16/22

Pascal Siakam Over 8.5 Rebounds

The Toronto Raptors travel to Minnesota to take on the Timberwolves, and Minnesota played an overtime thriller last night, so their legs might be a little tired. On top of that, Fred VanVleet seems to be questionable at best after missing shootaround. Pascal Siakam is averaging 8.7 rebounds and 13.9 rebound chances per night, and 5.9 rebounds come within six feet of the basket. On the season Minnesota is 20th in rebounds allowed in the paint, the total is 228 points, and the spread is just 2 points. This is the perfect game environment to target since Siakam is likely to push 40 minutes on the court (already at 37.5 per game), and the Timberwolves are third in pace. Considering OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 58%, this is a perfect way to kick off the NBA parlay.

Kemba Walker Over 10.5 Points

The New York Knicks continue to be very thin, as R.J. Barrett is out and Kemba Walker has been back in the rotation to a larger extent, with 26 minutes in each of the past two games. He has attempted 21 shots combined in those games, and even though Walker appears to be mostly at the end of the road, the matchup is spectacular. The Brooklyn Nets have had a defensive rating of just under 120 in the past four weeks, which would rank as the worst in the league throughout the season. Do not be fooled by the Nets allowing just 85 points in their last game since their opponent shot 34.4% from the field in that game. OddsShopper gives Walker a 71% expected win rate and is projected for 13.9 points, numbers that are too good to ignore.

Clint Capela Over 10.5 Rebounds

It is very encouraging to see Clint Capela playing 31 minutes in each of the past two games, and he is facing the frontcourt of the Orlando Magic tonight, a fantastic spot. Capela is fifth in rebound chances per game this season (19.6), and the minutes have been the one aspect missing from his game lately. Sure, he only had seven rebounds last night, but the Cleveland Cavaliers are 12th in rebounding, compared to 26th for the Magic. On top of that, Orlando is 28th in rebounds allowed in the paint this season, and Capela is crushing inside the paint, with 9.3 rebounds per game within six feet of the basket. The back-to-back situation for Atlanta likely means Capela will play more than 25 minutes, but that is plenty of time to hit 11 rebounds or more. He is at a positive ROI of +100, and OddsShopper has an expected win rate of 55%.

Jalen Smith Under 0.5 Assists

The largest expected win rate of the night from OddsShopper comes from Jalen Smith of the Indiana Pacers at a whopping 77%. With the injury to Chris Duarte, Smith has played 21, 23 and 17 minutes as a member of the Pacers. Last night he played just 17 because he fouled out in that time, and while he did have three assists, those are the only three assists he has as a Pacer through three games. He is only averaging 2.7 potential assists in his time in Indiana and has an assist rate under 8%. The matchup against the Washington Wizards is not a deal breaker either. The offense has been running through Tyrese Haliburton, and at +130 it is worth taking the chance that Smith will not have an assist like he did his previous two games.

Jaren Jackson Under 6.5 Rebounds

There seems to be a strong chance that the Memphis Grizzlies will be without Ja Morant tonight when they face the Portland Trail Blazers since he missed the game last night. Regardless of his status, Jaren Jackson Jr. finds himself in a difficult spot to hit the glass. Not only do both teams have centers (Jusuf Nurkic, Steven Adams) that average just over 20 rebounds per game, but the Trail Blazers also added Josh Hart at the deadline, who is averaging 7.6 rebounds per game. Portland is 12th in rebounds allowed in the paint as it is, and Memphis is fifth. That makes the path for Jackson to hit seven rebounds even tougher. Jackson averages 3.7 rebounds per game within six feet of the basket, and the Awesemo Parlay Calculator gives a return of +3065 for the NBA parlay to go along with an expected win rate of 66% from OddsShopper.
