Best NBA Picks and Parlays Today

The first step is locating the new Parlay Builder tab on the OddsShopper home page, which is very simple to do. After that, the user can customize to their heart’s content. OddsShopper offers the parlay bets by state, sportsbooks, and a variety of parlays. This article will be featuring the Prop Party Parlay, which gives up to five player prop bets that will give you the best chance to win based on our Awesemo simulations. The prop party is the most popular betting combo within the Awesemo community and Alex “Awesemo” Baker – the world’s No. 1 daily fantasy player — uses these almost exclusively when he is looking for an edge. It is always a smart idea to bet each wager as a solo piece as a way to build the bankroll. Parlays by their nature are harder to hit, which is why the reward is so large. Sunday’s version of the Prop Party features four wagers as of 12:30 p.m. on the DraftKings Sportsbook, so be sure to check OddsShopper for any updates when building any NBA parlay.

Bruce Brown Over 3.5 Assists

One of the simplest scenarios of the day is if the Brooklyn Nets win this game against the Indiana Pacers, they host the seven/eight game in the East play-in tournament. Knowing that Bruce Brown is not likely to play fewer than 35 minutes and he gets to pass the ball to players like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving, which tends to help rack up assists. Since the trade deadline, Brown has averaged 6.2 potential assists per game, but that doesn’t take into account Goran Dragic being out again today in health protocols. The Pacers have been a horrid defensive team since the deadline, with a defensive rating of over 120 points. The expected win rate for Brown is 58% from OddsShopper. It’s no accident that this game has a total of over 243 points. This game does tip off at 3:30, so be aware when placing wagers.

Trae Young Over 29.5 Points

This game also tips at 3:30 and the Atlanta Hawks still have a chance to move into the eighth spot in the East if they get some help. There haven’t been many matchups better for scoring than facing the Houston Rockets and that’s the scenario Trae Young finds himself in today. Houston is second in pace and has the second-worst defensive rating this season, which means they shouldn’t be able to give much resistance to Young and the Hawks today. Young is averaging 28.4 points per game this season, but Houston is dead last in points allowed in the paint. That’s a big bonus for Young because he drives to the hoop at a top 10 rate in basketball and averages 10.1 points from that play. With an expected win rate of 60%, Young is a strong pick for the NBA parlay.

Luka Doncic Over 28.5 Points

The trend of targeting teams that are playing to win continues when the Dallas Mavericks take on the San Antonio Spurs tonight. They do need Golden State to lose, but there is still that possibility that Dallas can take over the three-seed in the West. This means that Luka Doncic will be playing through the majority of this game. Since the trade deadline, Doncic has averaged 30.9 points per game and the Spurs play at the fifth-fastest pace in the league. That’s a big bump because Dallas is 30th in pace and San Antonio is  just 17th in defensive rating this year. The risk here could be the Warriors are playing the New Orleans Pelicans, who are expected to sit players tonight. If Golden State runs away with the game, Dallas could sit Doncic earlier than expected, but he should get at least three quarters of play and that’s plenty. Additionally, OddsShopper has Doncic with a 64% expected win rate and that’s the highest of any pick in the parlay.

Donovan Mitchell Over 22.5 Points

The Awesemo Parlay Calculator gives a return of +1190 for these four picks, so Donovan Mitchell set at 22.5 points is a little odd to see. He’s averaging 25.9 points per game and the sportsbooks are reacting to the Utah Jazz being almost a 19 point favorite tonight when they play the Portland Trail Blazers. The catch is Utah has to win to hold onto the fifth seed in the West (they could lose and then Denver would need to lose) but it goes a little further than that. Utah has struggled mightily lately in holding the lead and has multiple games where they’ve blown leads of over 15 points or more. They not only want to hold onto their seeding, but they will want to hold onto a lead when they get it and Mitchell should have plenty of time to score against the Trail Blazers, who happens to have the worst defensive rating in the league. Mitchell matches Doncic with a 64% expected win rate from OddsShopper and the line appears to be just too low.
