He will have to contribute in all areas of the game and not only scoring points, and his assists totals through the series do not tell the entire story. Even in Game 4, when he took the most field-goals attempts of any game (26), he still had nine potential assists and his teammates only cashed in four of them. That has basically been the issue of the entire series for Curry, as he’s averaged 9.5 potential assists but has only averaged 3.8 actual assists through five games. Since he has not hit this number yet, the ROI has climbed all the way up to +130 and the expected win rate from OddsShopper is 62%. That combination is too much to pass up, and there is going to be a game where his teammates hit some of the shots from Curry’s passes.

Robert Williams O/U 7.5 Rebounds

Robert Williams might be listed as questionable to play tonight, but it seems like he’ll suit up given the magnitude of this game and the fact he played 31 minutes in Game 4. That second part is important because that is the first time that he’s crossed the 30-minute mark in the postseason, and he’s grabbed a total of 22 rebounds in the past two games. It’s not much of a coincidence that Williams played over 25 minutes in both contests, and despite only averaging 23.9 minutes in the series, Williams leads the Celtics in rebound chances with 12.5 per game. He’s averaging 15.5 rebound chances in the past two games when he has played more minutes, and the expected win rate from OddsShopper is 64% with a -115 ROI.

Klay Thompson O/U 19.5 Points

This has been somewhat of a pattern in the playoffs to choose one specific game for Klay Thompson to really let loose as far as scoring goes. Game 5 profiles as potentially that spot because Thompson hasn’t played horribly in the Finals, but he has three games where he has only scored 11, 15 and 18 points. That’s simply not what is expected from him, and in the first two games, he shot a combined 4-of-15 from 3-point distance. Like the lethal scorer he can be, he started to find his stroke a little bit in the past two games when he shot 9-of-23 from 3-point range and 14-of-34 overall. What is great to see is, even with Curry pouring in the points, Thompson has two straight games with double-digit attempts from 3-point range. He’s not hesitating to shoot, and he will have a game where he hits half of his 3-point attempts or is just on fire in general.
