NBA Big $$$ Parlay Picks Thursday 4/7/22

There are seven games on the NBA slate and there are still plenty of playoff scenarios that need to be locked up, meaning there are teams to chase that are playing to their full capabilities. The MVP race is still being contested and all three of the top candidates are in action tonight, but there are many other routes to make picks for an NBA parlay tonight.

This is a perfect opportunity to use Awesemo OddsShopper to build some of the best NBA picks and parlays today. Using this fantastic site can help place smart wagers in an easy-to-use fashion and maximize the ROI on the wagers. It is truly betting made simple since you can find the best bet in 30 seconds or less. Take these NBA betting today, then head to OddsShopper and find your best odds.

NBA Picks and Parlays Today: Player Props & Betting Picks

The first step is finding the brand new Parlay Builder for OddsShopper. It is located on the top banner and is just one click away. This tool is a game-changer because the Awesemo data scientists have built the parlay already. The user has the choice of what type of parlay they prefer to chase and the slate is customizable along with the sportsbook. The parlay is built based on the top ROI bets based on Awesemo simulations and to exceed at least 10 times your initial bet. As a reminder, betting the props individually is always a smart way to build your bankroll. A 10x parlay is not exactly the most stable return if it is always being bet just as a parlay. Let’s find out what the best-projected NBA player prop bets are for Thursday and build some NBA parlay picks. OddsShopper updates the parlay constantly, so this is a guideline, and all plays will be linked to build the particular parlay.

D’Angelo Russell Over 2.5 3-Pointers

The ROI is +122 and the expected win rate from OddsShopper is 51% so this one may be a little sweaty at the end of the game. However, D’Angelo Russell and the Minnesota Timberwolves need to win to attempt to get out of the play-in game when they face the San Antonio Spurs tonight. The Spurs are still missing Dejounte Murray and the defensive rating falls to 111.2 when he is off the floor. Russell is only shooting 34% from 3 on the year but he makes up for it in volume as he is tied for 14th in the league in attempts per game (eight). San Antonio has allowed the 10th highest field goal percentage from 3 on the season so there is a strong path for Russell to hit three or more 3-pointers. The game has a spread under eight points and in competitive games, Russell should play up to 35 minutes.

Will Barton Over 3.5 Assists

Almost any wager for the Denver Nuggets this season has included Nikola Jokic but his props have ballooned upward since he has been on an absolute tear lately. A better chance at plus money exists with Will Barton at an ROI of +102 and a massive expected win rate of 67% from OddsShopper. Barton is averaging 3.9 assists per game overall on the season and the Memphis Grizzlies are strong defensively but play at the sixth-fastest pace in the league. It is no coincidence that this game has the second-highest total of the night at 232.5 points and Barton has been distributing the ball even more lately. It has not been a major increase but Barton is averaging 4.2 assists and six potential assists over the last 10 games which coincide with Jokic being more aggressive as far as his scoring. The expected win rate in this game environment is just too high to ignore.

Klay Thompson Over 2.5 Assists

If the expected win rate for Barton was too high to ignore, it stands to reason that Klay Thompson sitting at 72% from OddsShopper has to be played as well. The Golden State Warriors can still lock up the third seed in the West and they take on whatever version of the Los Angeles Lakers shows tonight. Since the Lakers have been eliminated, they are not very likely to play everyone, as Thompson should not have to be as aggressive scoring the ball in a game that has a 14 point spread. Stephen Curry has been out since March 17th and even though Jordan Poole and Draymond Green have been the main distributors, Thompson is still averaging 4.8 potential assists per game. He has played six games since Curry went down with his injury and the Lakers are down to 21st in defensive rating. That is not likely to get better if they sit players out, so Thompson is a strong pick with an ROI of +105.

Jonas Valanciunas Over 19.5 Points

It is expected that the New Orleans Pelicans blow out the Portland Trail Blazers tonight since the game has a spread of 16 points in favor of the Pelicans. However, Brandon Ingram is doubtful and Jonas Valanciunas has said he is going to play, opening up plenty of opportunities for Valanciunas to score in a hurry. Portland is down to 28th in points per game allowed in the paint and Valanciunas is inside the top 10 in paint touches and points scored in the paint. Additionally, his usage rate is 27.6% when Ingram is off the floor after the trade deadline. That is an important distinction to make since C.J. McCollum was acquired at that point of the season, but it has not harmed Valanciunas at all. His expected win rate is 53% from OddsShopper and these four legs would net a return of +1738 according to the Awesemo Parlay Calculator.
