Super Bowl Best Bet: Chiefs to Score Longest Touchdown (-143, DraftKings)
The Buccaneers are on a tremendous run, but this matchup sets up for the Chiefs to make some explosive plays downfield. Tom Brady had his first pass of the season of more than 50 yards in the NFC Championship, and the Kansas City secondary comes in pretty underrated. The Buccaneers will looks to come out with a balanced attack, and we know Brady likes to move the ball with longer drives. But this isn’t as much about talking down the Buccaneers as it is the Chiefs’ offense.
Patrick Mahomes and Tyreek Hill absolutely shredded this defense in Week 12, connecting 13 times for 269 yards and three touchdowns. They hooked up for the two longest scores of the game — a 75-yarder and a 44-yarder. Tampa would be silly not to put an emphasis on slowing Hill down, but it also struggles against tight ends, leaving Travis Kelce an option to rip a big one down the middle. There are just too many weapons for the Chiefs and too much big-play potential.
