NFL Sunday Night Football joins the kickoff of the 2021 NFL season as the Los Angeles Rams host the Chicago Bears. With the start of the NFL season the Awesemo team has launched the NFL Player Props Tool, covering each of the major prop categories for each week throughout 2021’s season. We will scavenge the sportsbooks to identify the best player props available based on the Tool’s projected values and odds of success.
Awesemo Player Props Tool Top Bets: Sunday Night Football
David Montgomery Over 3.5 Receptions (+135)
David Montgomery has proven his reliability on passing downs and as a safety net check-down option, and this week he has a line of 3.5 receptions +135. The Awesemo NFL Player Props Tool gives him an expected win rate of 60%, with a projection of 4.17 receptions and an expected return on investment of 39%, which is among the best payout projections for Sunday Night’s player props. Last season Montgomery averaged 3.6 receptions per game and a 4.4% drop rate in 15 games. His 2020 receiving production more than doubled his reception of 25 receptions over 16 games. If his year-over-year growth is any indication, Montgomery stands a great chance of surpassing the 3.5 total on the over at plus money tonight.
Andy Dalton Over 1.5 Touchdowns Passing (+195)
The Awesemo NFL Player Props Tool believes that Andy Dalton is profitable but has more risk involved. He has +195 odds to go over 1.5 touchdowns tonight, and despite the plus money, this prop has a modest 46% rate of success and a suggested return on investment of 36%. Given Dalton’s projection of 1.53 passing touchdown, this is essentially a coin toss. Dalton threw a touchdown per game in place of Dak Prescott last year, and he has 218 touchdowns in 144 games played over the course of his career. Although his numbers do not lend the most confidence, the near-50% win rate at +195 odds makes is a risk worth taking for Sunday Night Football.
Cooper Kupp Over 63.5 Yards Receiving (-113)
The Rams begin a new quarterbacking chapter of their own with Matthew Stafford, and that bodes well for Cooper Kupp. The Awesemo NFL Player Props Tool gives the over on 63.5 yards for Kupp a 57% expected win rate, which helps to offset the stringent 7.6% return on investment. With a projection of 67.82 yards, the forecast does not leave much breathing room, but his lower total adds confidence to the wager. Kupp had 974 yards on 92 receptions last year, the second-highest total of his career, and he has averaged 66.11 per game. The improvement at quarterback should only help his receiving totals in 2021.
