Miles Bridges Over 16.5 Points
This bet really seems like a no-brainer. Bridges is the Hornets’ leading scorer even though he is not always the team’s top scoring option as he shares that distinction with LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier. Gordon Haywood and Kelly Oubre are also heavily involved in the offense, which is why the Hornets are dangerous offensively.
Bridges has been playing really well of late. He has scored in double-figures in eight straight games and 14 of 15, tallying at least 17 points in nine of those contests. Furthermore, Bridges plays well at “The Hive” and has compiled 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, along with 4.5 assists while shooting 52% from the field though he has struggled from beyond the arc (27%) over the last 10 outings. He tallied 22 points against Milwaukee earlier this year and is projected for 19.73 tonight. The Bucks have done a pretty good job defending opposing power forwards of late, holding them to 42.1% shooting from the field over the last 10 games. However, opposing 4-men are attempting six free throws a game and totaling nearly 23 points a game against them over this stretch. Kevin Durant went for 29 points on 10 of 19 shooting against the Bucks on Friday night. OddsShopper gives the over a 71% chance of hitting with an expected ROI of 30%.

Charlotte Hornets -1.5 Points Over Milwaukee Bucks, Under 234.5 Points
This Bucks-Hornets matchup has the potential to be an exciting, high-scoring affair as the teams combined for 242 points in an earlier matchup in Milwaukee, in which the Bucks came out victorious by two points. However, I don’t believe this game will play out the same. Milwaukee comes into the game short-handed, although they have yet to announce who is out officially and the Bucks just played last night, earning a 121-109 victory over the Nets. Milwaukee has not performed well offensively in the second game of back-to-backs this year and is just 3-4 in games on no days rest while averaging 101.7 points on 42.3% shooting from the field and 37.7% from beyond the arc. They have allowed over 106 points in these contests.
Charlotte enters the game as the NBA’s second-highest scoring and the third most efficient offensive team. The Hornets thrive at home (10-5), and they love to get out and run, which will be the key tonight. But, the Hornets struggle on the defensive end. Charlotte has not played since throttling Detroit 140-111 on Wednesday. The Hornets have not been as efficient on offense on two days’ rest as they usually are. On the plus side, the Hornets have been better defensively after this amount of rest. For the season, Charlotte is 2-1 coming off two-days rest while averaging 102.7 points and giving up 104.7.
