With the 2023 WM Phoenix Open here, DFS players are faced with a stacked field of golfers looking to make a statement on the TPC Scottsdale course. With a winning score expected to be in the 17-under to 20-under range, it’s important to target elite scorers who can make a big impact on lineups for DFS picks.
Here are three golfers to consider for this week’s tournament.
2023 WM Phoenix Open DFS Picks & Plays
Jon Rahm – $11,000
As a resident of Arizona, Jon Rahm has found great comfort playing in the WM Phoenix Open. He’s finished in the top 16 in each of his six career starts, and he’s the hottest golfer on the planet right now, with six top-10 finishes in his last seven starts, including two wins. He’s also a long and straight driver of the ball, which fits TPC Scottsdale perfectly; he ranks first in strokes gained off the tee over the last 50 rounds in this field. With his birdie or better percentage ranking fourth in this field over the last 50 rounds, Rahm fits the bill as an elite scorer and is a top option this week.
Rahm has the most projected points this week, according to Stokastic projections.

Keegan Bradley – $7,700
Keegan Bradley is coming off a runner up finish at the Farmers Insurance Open, and he’s in great form heading into the WM Phoenix Open, where he’s had great success over the years. In 10 career starts, he’s made eight cuts and posted five top-26 finishes. With past winners of this event being ball strikers, Bradley’s top-25 rankings in both strokes gained off the tee and on approach over the last 100 tracked rounds bode well for his performance this week. With a price tag that’s about $500 too low, Bradley is a great value add to both cash and GPP lineups.
Brian Harman – $7,400
Brian Harman had a very impressive swing season, but he’s come out flat in 2023, with a middling 32nd-place finish at Sony followed by a missed cut at the American Express. Despite this, his price is depressed, making him an attractive option for this week’s WM Phoenix Open. Harman has been very consistent at this event in his career, making seven cuts in eight tries, and with his top-40 ranking in strokes gained off the tee and on approach over the last 50 rounds, he’s set up well to compete this week. While he may not have the firepower to win, a top-15 finish at $7,400 would more than suffice and is well within his range of outcomes.
