Jon Rahm and Rory McIlroy are strong top-two options, and Viktor Hovland and breakout star Scottie Scheffler round out the top of the board. All of them will be owned over 15% this week, with Rahm and McIlroy coming in at or over 20%. Matt Fitzpatrick has been playing well lately and has three consecutive good starts at this tournament, and he is the most likely candidate to join Rahm as close to 20% owned.
Marc Leishman may be the only other golfer that will be owned over or near 15% this week from this price range, with five names going slightly under-owned compared to the others:
- Sungjae Im
- Will Zalatoris
- Tyrrell Hatton
- Adam Scott
Top Contrarian Fantasy Golf Picks
Pricing is solid, and that leads to spread-out ownership this week, with not one golfer projected under 10% at this point. Sungjae Im could end up being the closest, as he is coming off a week where he was highly owned and the highest-priced golfer but missed the cut. Im has played well on this course, so he can still be a solid play if the variance is not a hinderance.

- 21 golfers
There are 21 golfers in this price section this week, with plenty of options for players projected under 10% owned. But interestingly enough, no golfer of the 21 will be owned less than 7%, at least at current projections. Paul Casey and Keith Mitchell will be among the highest owned of the group, and both are playing well and have played well at this course — a dynamic combo for high ownership in PGA DFS. Also getting plenty of looks this week will be Maverick McNealy, Justin Rose and Christiaan Bezuidenhout. All three of them likely will be owned between 15% and 20%. Jason Kokrak, Russell Henley and Cameron Young are not far behind either, checking in with ownerships just south of 15%. Then a few golfers will likely get over 10% this week, including Jason Day, Cameron Tringale, Luke List, Chris Kirk, Billy Horschel, Sergio Garcia and Seamus Power. That leaves around five golfers that will be projected at less than 10%.

Top Contrarian Fantasy Golf Picks
After a breakout season last year, Sam Burns has cooled off quite a bit, and so as his following — he is projected for less than 10% ownership. Max Homa and Talor Gooch are as well. Tommy Fleetwood will also lose plenty of supporters after a poor week at the Honda at a much higher salary. But Corey Conners, after a tough West Coast swing, is set for some of his lowest ownership at one of his lowest prices all year. That is too good to pass up.
