 Donovan Mitchell

 PTS 20.7 | REB 2.6 | AST: 3.9

The Utah Jazz have been inconsistent early on in their 2018-19 campaign. They currently have a record of 8-9 and will have to deal with the high-octane offense of the Sacramento Kings (9-8) tonight. Donovan Mitchell, Utah’s prized young possession, has been as hot and cold as anyone in the league this season. One night he could go for 30 points, and the next night he may not even score 10.

In his most recent game, Mitchell managed just seven points, one rebound and one assist in 32 minutes of action, his worst outing to date. Tonight, though, he won’t have a defensive stalwart like Victor Oladipo standing in his way. Instead, he’ll have a Kings team that allows 116.1 points per game (27th), so Mitchell should have ample opportunities to succeed and bounce back from his forgettable performance in Indiana.

Despite their inferior record, the Jazz come into the game as -9.0 favorites and the line has been set at 221.5. The Kings rank 2nd in pace and will try and play the game their way, while it’s quite the opposite for the Jazz. Whichever team takes control out of the gate should be able to run away with this one, and that’ll have an impact on Mitchell’s overall performance.

 Predicted stat-line: 21 PTS, 3 REB, 4 AST

Russell Westbrook

 PTS 24.8 | REB 8.9 | AST: 8.6

Westbrook returned to the court against Sacramento on Monday after missing seven games due to injury. He looked solid, posting 29 points, 13 rebounds and seven assists in the loss, and will be motivated to have a big game against former teammate Kevin Durant in Oakland tonight.

The Warriors are certainly vulnerable at the moment, losing their last three games and experiencing some adversity for the first time in a long time. Westbrook always turns it on against Durant and the Warriors, and there will be extra motivation to add to their woes. This will be just his second game since returning from injury, though, so that’s something to monitor, especially considering he played 37 minutes in his return.

This game could really go either way, as the Warriors are just -1.0 favorites at the moment despite being at home. Westbrook will likely have to deal with a combination of Andre Iguodala and Quinn Cook defending him in this game. Iggy could cause him some problems with his length, whereas Cook is someone he can take advantage of. Expect Westbrook to come out firing and playing aggressive. He may not have the most efficient game, but his production will still be up there as per usual.

 Predicted stat-line: 31 PTS, 9 REB, 7 AST

Kevin Durant

 PTS 27.2 | REB 7.2 | AST: 6.1

Durant has been in the spotlight for the past week after his exchange with Draymond Green, but he’s somewhat remained productive despite the team’s struggles. He had 26 points, 10 rebounds and six assists against the Spurs, but will have to deal with the defensive prowess of Paul George tonight.

The Warriors are still without Stephen Curry, so Durant remains the main source of production and will be leaned on heavily again in the hopes of snapping the losing skid. The struggles have come on the road, though, as the Warriors have only lost one game at home this season. The odds are in their favor tonight, so there’s probably a good chance they get the job done and Durant has a productive night in the process.

 Predicted stat-line: 32 PTS, 9 REB, 5 AST
