Doctor Speaks Out Against Christian Eriksen COVID Rumors

Over the weekend, sports fans everywhere witnessed one of the scarier things we’ve ever seen in live game action when Denmark midfielder Christian Eriksen collapsed during the team’s Euro 2020 match with Finland.

The match was postponed, as Eriksen had to be resuscitated on the pitch.

Shortly after the game, it was announced that Christian Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest, and many fans speculated that he either had COVID, or experienced issues with the vaccine.

On Monday, an Inter-Milan doctor shot down all those rumors.

“He didn’t have COVID and wasn’t vaccinated either,” Inter-Milan Director Giuseppe Marotta told Rai Sport.

Doctors would go on to explain that there was no prior indication of health issues for Christian Eriksen before his scary collapse.

“In the next few days, he will undergo thorough examinations. The most important thing is that he is well,” Inter team doctor Piero Volpi told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“But there has never been an episode that even remotely hinted at a problem, neither when he was at Tottenham nor at Inter. In Italy the checks are very rigorous.”
