WATCH: Sadio Mane Angrily Snubbed Jurgen Klopp For Benching Him Against Manchester United

Sadio Mane was clearly not happy with Jurgen Klopp’s decision to bench him against Manchester United. And he’d show that at the blast of the full-time whistle.

Klopp had elected to go with Diogo Jota alongside Mohammed Salah and Roberto Firmino upfront at Old Trafford, meaning the Senegalese had to make do with a spot on the bench.

He did appear later on, replacing Jota in the 74th minute as the Merseyside Reds strolled to a 4-2 victory. But as Klopp advanced to congratulate his player at the end, a seething Mane was seen snubbing his gaffer..

Well, that’s not so professional of Mane, is it? I get you’re angry because you were benched, but c’mon! Liverpool won a big game which could be instrumental to their top-four chances, and you still sulking?

That is very childish thing to do, if he really meant to snub Klopp there. For much of this season, Mane’s been off colour, and your replacement even popped up with a goal.

While Klopp had insisted the move to have him benched was only a late one from their training and that everything was “all fine” between them, Mane had better get over himself, and fast.
