Welcome to Bundesliga DFS for May 30 (5/30/20). Here you’ll find our top plays, all things considered. The players who have price-considered floor/ceiling on DraftKings are especially highlighted. Keep in mind that teams are now allowed five substitutions instead of three due to lack of training during the hiatus.

The Bundesliga DFS Picks Breakdown
These are listed in order of what I believe are the top plays, including median projection, floor and upside.
Note: FanDuel includes the Fortuna Dusseldorf-Bayern Munich game, DraftKings does not. Players mentioned from that game are FanDuel-specific plays.
Bundesliga DFS Picks: Forward
Jadon Sancho (DraftKings $11,200, FanDuel $21)
Sancho should be ready to go the whole match in this one and his look teammates will be looking to force feed him the ball with Erling Haaland out and still no Marco Rues. The set pieces, goal involvement, drawn fouls and crosses are all there for Sancho and price shouldn’t scare anyone away.
Jadon Sancho 2019-2020 stats: 14 goals, 16 assists, 46 shots, 56 shots assisted, 65 crosses.
Alassane Plea (DraftKings $9,200, FanDuel $20)
Plea burned me last time out in a good spot. It looks like Werder Bremen is doing that to a lot of studs coming of the hiatus so I will give Plea a pass. Still, he is heavily involved in the offense on a team that need these wins as they see themselves on verge of dropping out of top-four contention. Plea has 32% goal involvement on a team that is top-four in goals scored, plus he draws fouls and hasas many assists as goals. He is not goal dependent to pay off the price tag. Awesemo’s projections have Plea as the highest points on DraftKings and 17.53 and top-seven in value at 1.86.
Alassane Plea 2019-2020 stats: 9 goals, 8 assists, 70 shots, 50 crosses, 34 fouls drawn.
Marcus Thuram (DraftKings $8,500, FanDuel $18)
It seems if it is not Plea involved in the scoring, it is Thuram. He has 30% goal involvement for Gladbach and, while he isn’t crossing the ball from the wings, he does shoot at a high clip and is a slight discount form Plea. I also like the idea of pairing them together in a few lineups. Awesemo’s projections have him at No. 4 with 12.76 points and a solid 1.50 value.
Marcus Thuram 2019-2020 stats: 8 goals, 8 assists, 51 shots, 21 shots assisted.
Other Options: Dennis Srbeny (DraftKings $5,500, FanDuel $16, Awesemo value of 2.22), Sebastian Andersson (DraftKings $6,000, FanDuel $15).
Bundesliga DFS Picks: Midfield
Kai Proger (DraftKings $7,000, FanDuel $15)
Proger is the consistent bright spot on a bad team. He has a safe floor and his price is rather discounted despite the tough matchup. He doesn’t need goal involvement and honestly, I expect them to get shut out, but he takes enough shots and crosses to still break slates. Awesemo’s projections have Proger as No. 2 on DraftKings with 15.50 points and top value at 2.21.
Kai Proger 2019-2020 stats: 47 shots, 41 shots assisted, 175 crosses.
Achraf Hakimi (DraftKings $7,700, FanDuel $14)
Like Raphael Guerreiro, Hakimi does a little of everything for Dortmund, whether it is set pieces, crosses or goal involvement. He serves as a cheaper way to get a piece of the Dormund goals, and I especially like the FanDuel price. I like Hakimi more on FanDuel and Guerreiro more on DraftKings, based mainly on the price discrepancies.
Achraf Hakimi 2019-2020 stats: 4 goals, 10 assists, 80+ crosses, 30 shots.
Other Options: Raphael Guerreiro (DraftKings $7,300, FanDuel $19), Thorgan Hazard (DraftKings $8,900, FanDuel $17).
Bundesliga DFS Picks: Defender
Ramy Bensebaini (DraftKings $6,500, FanDuel $15)
Bensebani contributes on both defense and offense. He even is a “maybe” for penalty kicks. The price is rising and he will be hard to fit in lineups, but you can’t argue with the interceptions, shots and goals, and all this in a short amount of time. Awesemo’s projections have him third-highest at 13.67 with top value of 2.10.
Christopher Trimmel (DraftKings $7,000, FanDuel $14)
He is another high-priced defender, but Trimmel is Mr. Do-It-All for Union Berlin. He produces tackles won, set pieces, interceptions and crosses for days. Awesemo’s projections have him at 11.99 points and a 1.63 value. I think this price might keep ownership down trying to also fit in the likes of Sancho and Plea, so I don’t mind slotting Trimmel in as one of the first pieces in a build.
Other Options: Oscar Wendt (DraftKings $5,700, FanDuel $11)/Stefan Lainer (DraftKings $5,300, FanDuel $9), Subject to which one of these two starts. I think Lainer will.
Bundesliga DFS Picks: Goalkeeper
Yann Sommer (DraftKings $5,700, FanDuel $13)
