Moneyline bets are the most basic wager in all of sports betting. Simply put you’re betting on Team A or Team B to win the game. If you’re betting on a favorite, they will have a minus sign in front of the odds, giving you less money back for your wager than an underdog, which will have a plus sign attached to the number.
The main types of totals bets feature action on the score of a game or the score of a team in a game. A bettor places action on whether they think the total amount of points scored will be higher or lower than the amount listed by FOX Bet.
Parlays are combined of two or more single wagers into a single ticket, which then multiples the odds to a higher amount than two single bets on separate tickets. In order to win a parlay bet, a bettor must get all the bets correct on that ticket.
A teaser is like a parlay bet but for point spreads. You can combine two or more games together (usually a maximum of four games) and get points shaved off the spread.
As soon as you have entered at least three or more picks on the bet slip, you can place a Round Robin bet. The number of possible Round Robin bets depends on the number of possible outcomes, which is tied to how many selections you have made. The bets possible with your picks will be displayed automatically.
Bet Boosts create a better price for teams and/or players to win a particular game/event. The price that FOX Bet offers for these bets and Enhanced Parlays typically is greater than the coupon price, but movements in prices/lines may affect this enough so that Enhanced Parlay prices end up being lower.
Users cannot cast out Bet Boosts or Enhanced Parlays. Upon cancelation or postponement of any given game/event, users will have their bets settled on the final coupon price for all remaining legs of the parlay. Individual rules may vary depending on the sport when it comes to settlements.
If users want to make a bet that they do not see on the FOX Bet site, all said users need to do is contact FOX Bet on social media and report a custom bet they wish to play. Upon consideration, FOX Bet may then add the bet to the site’s list of bets, along with the odds for the bet, allowing the original user and any other interested parties to get custom betting action on any given slate. However, in the event the game for any leg of the bet is canceled or postponed, the whole custom bet will be null and void.
Cashing out means taking the payout for a bet prior to the conclusion of the game/event in question. This process is subject to the approval by FOX Bet. If accepted, users can take the cash payout listed on the betting slip, which will then immediately lead to the funds going to your account. The results for the game/event from that point on become irrelevant to the wager, either positive or negative for the user.
Bettors can take a cash out in the middle of the event or prior to it beginning, if desired. This process is allowed for both straight bets and parlays for any sport FOX Bet offers. However, keep in mind that FOX Bet can remove the ability for users to cash out at any time over the course of the bet, so make sure the option is available before taking steps to cash out. FOX Bet may also reverse the cash out if it is the result of human or technical error.
Another thing to keep in mind is that cash outs can occasionally exceed the “maximum payout limit” for any given bet because these limits are set retroactively. Should this happen, FOX Bet may amend the cash out amount to account for the maximum limit.
Users can place bets by accessing the desired sports and bets on the home page. They can also access these via the home page on iOS or Android mobile devices.
To withdraw, users can simply click ‘Cashier’ in the desktop lobby and select “Withdraw.” They can then enter the amount they wish to withdraw. Enter and click “Submit” to accept the withdrawal.
The FOX Bet app is available for iOS and Android users in the respective app store. Simply download and enjoy all the same features as the desktop site.
While bets cannot be placed via phone call, users can use the mobile app to make bets with their phone.
In game betting allows users to wager on games/events while they are ongoing. Lines on these bets can change at any time, including after submission but before confirmation of the bet. Users will receive notifications if odds decrease at any time on an in-game bet, while higher lines will automatically be applied. FOX Bet offers in-game betting on some sports, but not all. Check the “In-Game” tab to see what is available.
