How To Use The Stokastic NFL DFS Entry Manager
Building a pool of NFL DFS lineups in the Stokastic Sims is the fun part. Getting all of them into the right contests on DraftKings without hand-editing a spreadsheet is where multi-entry players usually lose an hour. That hour is exactly what the Entry Manager removes. It sits inside the Stokastic Sims, takes the lineups you have already favorited, assigns them to each contest you registered for, and hands you back a single CSV ready to upload. The tool works the same way for any sport, but this walkthrough runs on an NFL slate, so here is how to load a full slate of entries the fast way.
In Summary
- The Entry Manager Assigns Lineups To Contests And Exports The Upload CSV. It is not where you find your lineups; that happens in the NFL Sims. This tool takes the ones you favorited and puts them where they need to go.
- Download Your Contest Entry File From The Site First. DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, and OwnersBox each give you your own entry file, and you upload that CSV to pull in the contests you registered for.
- Favorite The Lineups You Want, Then Click The Plus Sign Next To A Contest. Quick-favorite the top group of lineups, open the Entry Manager, and one click assigns them to that contest.
- The "Enable Duplicate Lineups" Toggle Is The Piece To Understand. Checked, your best lineups can go into more than one contest. Unchecked, each contest gets its own fresh set with no overlap.
- You Can Manage Every Contest Separately. Run different lineup counts, different uniques settings, and different pools per contest, then export one file and upload it.

What The Entry Manager Does (And Where It Fits)
Think of the Entry Manager as the last step of the Sims workflow, not the first. You run the NFL Sims, the simulator does its thing, and every simulation result lands on the screen. From there you decide which lineups you actually want to play. The Entry Manager is what takes those chosen lineups, assigns them to the specific contests you have entered, and exports the file you upload back to the site.
That division matters, because it keeps each job simple. Finding and selecting lineups is a Sims question, and if you want the deep version of that read our guide to the NFL Sims. Getting the lineups you settled on into the $5 Millionaire Maker and the Play Action and whatever else you registered for is an Entry Manager question, and it comes down to favoriting plus a plus sign.
| Stokastic Tool | The job it does | Where it hands off |
|---|---|---|
| NFL Sims | Build and rank a full pool of lineups against the projected field | You favorite the lineups you want |
| Entry Manager | Assign favorited lineups to your contests and export the CSV | You upload the file to the site |
The tool supports DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, and OwnersBox, so whichever site you play, the process below is the same. If you would rather hand-build one lineup at a time instead of firing a full pool, the Single Lineup Simulator is the sibling tool for that. To follow along, pull up the week's board in the NFL DataHub and generate your lineups first.
Push a full slate of lineups in a few clicks. The Entry Manager is included with Stokastic+ NFL, alongside the NFL Sims, projections, and ownership. New here? Code NFLENTRY10 takes 10% off your first month so you can build a pool and load your entries without touching a spreadsheet: Start with Stokastic+ NFL.
Step 1: Download Your Contest Entry File
Before you open the Entry Manager, you need your contest entry file from the site you are playing on. The exact spot is a little different on each site, but the idea is identical everywhere: DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, and OwnersBox each let you download the entry file for the contests you have registered for. Grab that file independently on the site, and Stokastic keeps direct links in the video description that take you straight to where you get it.
For this walkthrough the file is a DraftKings entry file for a Week 1 NFL slate, already downloaded and ready to load.
Step 2: Upload The CSV
Click Entry Manager in the top right corner of the screen. That opens the panel where you upload your CSV. Look for the blue Upload CSV button at the top of the list, click it, and load in the file you just downloaded from the site.
Once it loads, your registered contests appear in the list. In the example that is two separate DraftKings contests: the $5 Millionaire Maker, fully max entered, and the Play Action with 20 entries. You can manage those two contests the same way or completely differently, and that choice is the whole point of the tool. The rest of the steps show both.
Step 3: Favorite The Lineups You Want
Head back to the screen showing all your simulation results. This is where you pick the lineups to enter, and the Entry Manager reads whatever you favorite here.
Say you know you want 150 lineups in the Millionaire Maker. Quick-favorite the top 150, a heart appears on the right side of each one, and you now have 150 lineups saved. That is all the tool needs from you. You are not editing anything by hand; you are just marking the lineups it should use.
Step 4: Assign Lineups To A Contest
Open the Entry Manager again. To put those 150 favorited lineups into the Millionaire Maker, click the plus sign next to that contest. One click, and 150 lineups are assigned to the Millie.
At this point you can stop and click Download Entry File. That exports a CSV with only those 150 lineups loaded, nothing in the Play Action, which you save and upload back to DraftKings to enter them. Or you can keep going and set up the Play Action in the same session before exporting anything.
To build a different set for the second contest, unfavorite everything so nothing is selected, then get more specific. In the walkthrough that means requiring each lineup to have four uniques and then taking the top 20, which creates a little separation between those builds. Open the Entry Manager, click the plus sign next to the Play Action, and now you have 150 lineups in the Millionaire Maker and 20 in the Play Action: two contests, 170 lineups, all assigned.
Step 5: The "Enable Duplicate Lineups" Toggle
Here is the setting worth slowing down on, because it changes what actually lands in each contest. Look for enable duplicate lineups in the Entry Manager, then decide which behavior you want.
| Duplicate Lineups | What happens | When to use it |
|---|---|---|
| Enabled (Checked) | Your best lineups can appear in more than one contest; take the top 150 and top 20 and the 20 best go into both | Quick way to bounce your strongest builds across every contest you are in |
| Disabled (Unchecked) | Each contest gets its own set with no overlap; the top 150 fill the Millie and your next-best 20 go to the Play Action | When you want a fresh, non-overlapping set per contest |
Worked Example: Splitting 170 Lineups Across Two Contests
The demo makes the difference concrete. With duplicates unchecked, favorite the top 150, then assign the top 20 to the Play Action and the rest to the Millionaire Maker. Because only 150 were favorited and 20 of them went to the Play Action, the Millie ends up with 130, so you would need 20 more to fill it. Turn duplicates on if you want those best lineups shared across both contests, or leave it off and favorite a fresh 150 for the Millie so each contest gets its own clean set. Either direction, all you do is check that box on or off.
Step 6: Export And Upload
When your contests are assigned the way you want, click Download Entry File. That produces a single CSV with every lineup you have set across all of your contests. Save it, then head to DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, or OwnersBox and upload that CSV, and your lineups are submitted.
So the entire loop is short: favorite the lineups in the Sims, click the plus sign to assign them, set the duplicates toggle, and download one file to upload. No copy-pasting individual lineups in Excel, and full control over which lineups go into which contest.
Where The Entry Manager Fits In Your NFL DFS Week
What makes this tool useful is that it is the last mile of an already-good process, not a separate one. The NFL Sims build and rank your pool, and the Entry Manager takes the lineups you favorite there and gets them into your contests. Prefer to hand-build one lineup at a time? The Single Lineup Simulator is the tool for that. Still deciding whether to fire a big pool or hand-build? Our Sims vs optimizers breakdown covers that choice, and the NFL DFS primer covers the tournament-versus-cash construction behind it.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Stokastic Entry Manager? It is a tool inside the Stokastic NFL Sims that assigns the lineups you have favorited to the specific contests you registered for, then exports a single CSV you upload back to DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, or OwnersBox. It handles the loading step so you are not hand-editing a spreadsheet.
How do I upload my lineups with the Entry Manager? Download your contest entry file from the site you are playing on, click Entry Manager and use the blue Upload CSV button to load it, favorite the lineups you want in the Sims, click the plus sign next to each contest to assign them, then click Download Entry File and upload that CSV back to the site.
What does "enable duplicate lineups" do? With it checked, your best lineups can go into more than one contest at once. With it unchecked, each contest gets its own set with no overlap, so the tool fills the first contest and then uses your next-best lineups for the next one.
Can I enter multiple contests at the same time? Yes. The list shows every contest from your uploaded entry file, and you assign lineups to each one separately, with different lineup counts and different uniques settings per contest. Then you export one file that covers all of them.
Which sites and which Stokastic package does it work with? The Entry Manager supports DraftKings, FanDuel, Yahoo, and OwnersBox, and it is included with Stokastic+ NFL on the pricing page alongside the NFL Sims, projections, and ownership projections.
Load Your Next NFL Slate The Fast Way
Multi-entry NFL DFS only works if entering your lineups is quick, and this tool is what keeps it quick. Favorite the lineups you trust in the Sims, click a plus sign to send them to each contest, decide with one checkbox whether your best builds repeat across contests, and export a single file to upload. That is the difference between spending your pre-lock window editing a spreadsheet and spending it on the lineups themselves.
