College Football Conference Championship Odds: Kalshi Market Hub
Kalshi runs a championship-winner market for all ten FBS conferences, and each one comes with a second board most readers miss: a qualifier market pricing who simply reaches the title game. Together that is twenty live boards, more than 1.3 million contracts traded, and the cleanest season-long map of college football's power structure anywhere on the exchange. This page is the one-screen version we rebuild through the season: live prices for every conference race, the qualifier boards, and the playoff markets these races feed. Our eight-model AI panel has already scored the linked title boards; this hub is the map that connects them. Prices are quote midpoints fetched from the live exchange as of August 3, 2026; this page rebuilds in place as the season moves, and the "as of" stamp is the evidence.
The Quick Answer
As of August 3, 2026, Kalshi's conference championship favorites are: Georgia at 26.5 cents over Texas (20.5) in the SEC; Ohio State at 30.5 in a three-team Big Ten fight with Oregon (25.5) and Indiana (23.5); Texas Tech at 49.5 cents in the Big 12, the biggest Power Four favorite; Miami at 55.5 cents in the ACC, the biggest favorite anywhere; and in the Group of Five, Navy (American), UNLV (Mountain West), Miami of Ohio (MAC), Louisiana Tech (Conference USA), James Madison (Sun Belt), and Boise State (Pac-12). Every race, every qualifier board, and the playoff crossover are below.

All prices are quote midpoints in cents as of August 3, 2026, with market expirations set for championship weekend (December 5-6, 2026). Each cent is roughly a percentage point of implied probability before spread and fees, and thin-book futures typically sum above 100 cents per race, so compare prices within a board rather than to a fair total.
Two Markets Per Conference: Winners And Qualifiers
Each conference carries a winner board ("If [team] wins the 2026 College Football [conference] Championship Game, then the market resolves to Yes," quoted from the contracts) and a qualifiers board that settles on simply reaching the game. The pair is more useful than either alone, because their ratio is a market-priced read on the title game itself. Texas Tech trades at 70 cents to reach the Big 12 game and 49.5 to win it, an implied 71% conversion rate once there; Indiana trades at 46.5 cents to reach the Big Ten game, the highest qualifier price in that conference, but only 23.5 to win it, an implied conversion near 51% that says the market expects the Hoosiers to show up and then meet Ohio State or Oregon. When a qualifier price moves without the winner price following, the market is repricing a schedule, not a team.
SEC: Georgia, Texas, And Fourteen Live Contracts
Georgia leads at 26.5 cents with Texas at 20.5, then Alabama and LSU at 10.5, Texas A&M at 9.5, and Oklahoma at 7.5 in the deepest contending pack of any Power Four race. The qualifier board tells the same story with more daylight: Georgia 42, Texas 39.5, LSU 28. Four SEC teams trade above 20 cents just to reach the game, and six trade above 7 to win it, the deepest contending pack in any Power Four race. For the national-title implications of this race, the same names populate the top ten of the national champion board, where Texas (11.5¢) and Georgia (9.5¢) sit second and fifth.
Big Ten: A True Three-Team Market
The Big Ten is the only Power Four race priced as a true three-way: Ohio State 30.5, Oregon 25.5, Indiana 23.5, then a cliff to USC at 6.5. The qualifier board inverts the order, Indiana 46.5 over Oregon 43.5 and Ohio State 42.5, a spread-versus-schedule read worth watching all fall. Both boards agree on the story that matters for playoff purposes: the conference-of-the-champion market prices the Big Ten at 38.5 cents to produce the national champion, a half-cent above the SEC at 37.5, the closest that argument has been priced all summer.
Big 12: Texas Tech At Half The Board
Texas Tech at 49.5 cents is the Big 12 board, with BYU next at 12.5 and Utah at 8.5. The 70-cent qualifier price is the strongest single-team conviction in any conference market, and the race has drawn 586,000 contracts, triple any other conference, the volume that follows a strong opinion. The structural note: a 49.5-cent favorite, an implied probability just under 50% in a 16-team league, is a bet on roster and schedule dominance holding for four months, and the qualifier-to-winner gap (70 to 49.5) prices a real title-game hurdle even in the market's best case.
ACC: Miami Is The Biggest Favorite On The Exchange
Miami at 55.5 cents to win the ACC is the largest conference favorite anywhere on Kalshi, with SMU (10.5) and Louisville (9.5) the only other names above 7. The qualifier board (Miami 60, Louisville 26.5, SMU 22) shows how much of that number is about the path: the market gives Miami a 60% implied chance just to reach Charlotte, then roughly a 92% conversion once there, the most lopsided title-game math on any board. The playoff-qualifier market carries the same read, pricing Miami at 73.5 cents to make the field.
The Group Of Five: Six Races, Real Prices
- American: Navy 18.5¢ over UTSA (15) and Memphis (12.5), the most open race on the exchange; East Carolina's 29-cent qualifier price is second only to Navy's 35.5.
- Mountain West: UNLV 25.5¢, New Mexico 21.5, and North Dakota State at 21, with New Mexico topping the qualifier board at 39.
- MAC: Miami (OH) 21¢, Toledo 19.5, Western Michigan 18.5, and Western Michigan's 33.5-cent qualifier price the board's quiet tell.
- Conference USA: Louisiana Tech 44.5¢, the Group of Five's biggest favorite, over Liberty (23.5) and Western Kentucky (22).
- Sun Belt: James Madison 29.5¢ over Old Dominion (15.5), with four teams packed between 21.5 and 27 on the qualifier board.
- Pac-12: Boise State 33.5¢ over San Diego State (19.5) in the rebuilt league's eight-team board, with Boise's 52-cent qualifier price the conference's anchor number.
For playoff purposes these races are access bets: the highest-ranked conference champions fill the field's automatic bids, so a Group of Five title price is partly a playoff-berth price, which is why Boise State and the American's contenders also appear deep on the playoff-qualifier board.
The Playoff Crossover
Three context markets turn this hub into a season map. The national champion board (50 teams, 9.5 million contracts) opens with Notre Dame at 12.5 cents, then Texas and Ohio State at 11.5, Oregon 10.5, Georgia 9.5. The conference-of-the-champion market prices where the trophy lands, and in implied-probability terms it reads: Big Ten 38.5%, SEC 37.5%, then a long drop to the ACC at 9.5% and the Big 12 at 4.5%, with a 10.5% chance on "any other conference or independent," a contract that is functionally a second Notre Dame market since the Irish top the title board while playing no conference championship at all. And the playoff-qualifier board prices the field itself, again in implied percentages: Notre Dame 84%, Ohio State 75%, Oregon 74.5%, Miami 73.5%, Indiana 73%. Reading a conference race without these three boards is reading one instrument of the orchestra.
The Heisman Sideline
The award market that shadows every conference race: Kalshi's Heisman board (29 names, 4.4 million contracts) opens with CJ Carr at 12.5 cents, Arch Manning at 11.5, and Darian Mensah at 9.5. Award races and title races reprice together, a September quarterback surge moves both his Heisman contract and his conference board, which makes the pair a useful cross-check on whether a team's rise is priced as real. The full model-verdict treatment of last season's race lives on the Heisman board.
The Hedge Map: Win Totals And Weekly Rankings
Kalshi also runs 69 open team season-win markets and a weekly AP #1 market family, which together make the conference boards tradeable rather than hold-only. The standard constructions: a conference-title position hedged with the same team's win-total under (protection against the good-season, lost-title-game outcome), or a qualifier long paired against the winner contract (isolating exactly the title-game coin flip). Comparing the exchange's implied probabilities against sportsbook win-total prices is the fastest way to find which side of a number is stale, and the workflow for reading market fields as research, rather than as tickets, is laid out in the fantasy football prediction markets hub.
The DFS Crossover
For college football DFS players, these boards are a free season-long research layer, the same exercise our prediction markets for DFS players guide runs for the pro sports: a conference race's contending pack is a market-priced list of which offenses the money expects to control games, and qualifier prices flag the teams whose schedules produce the game-script blowouts that CFB DFS slates reward. The exchange's read updates nightly all season, which beats any preseason magazine, and for the weekly projection version of that exercise once slates begin, Stokastic Prop Tools runs the player-level layer.
What Reprices These Boards
Conference futures move on a knowable calendar: August camp news and quarterback decisions, the season's opening weekend (the single biggest repricing event, when 20-cent favorites become 35-cent favorites or vanish), the October round of head-to-head meetings inside each race, and championship-weekend qualification math in late November. This hub rebuilds in place through the season rather than minting a new page per news cycle, so the prices above always carry their fetch date.
How To Read These Prices
- Eligibility. Kalshi is a CFTC-regulated event-contract exchange, not a sportsbook. 18+, and availability varies by state as of August 2026.
- Liquidity. Depth varies thirty-fold across these races, from the Big 12's 586K contracts to Conference USA's 19K. Group of Five books quote wide; treat mid-prices there as estimates.
- Time. All ten races settle at championship weekend, December 5-6, 2026; capital is committed for the full season.
- Not advice. Prices are market data, not predictions of fact and not financial advice. Where our AI panel's numbers appear on linked boards, those are model estimates, not predictions of fact and not financial advice, graded against the real market settlements on the model verdict scoreboard.
The Bottom Line
Ten races, three shapes: two leagues priced as arguments (the SEC's six-deep pack, the Big Ten's three-way), two priced as verdicts (Texas Tech at half the board, Miami above it), and six Group of Five races where a title price doubles as a playoff-access price. The qualifier boards underneath are the underpriced reading material, and the playoff crossover markets say the championship argument itself is a coin flip between the two big leagues. This hub rebuilds in place through championship weekend; the sibling calendar hub for the winter is March Madness 2027.
