Giants vs Rams Player Props: The Nacua Call Paid

The two bets this page told you to buy Monday morning both paid, and the reason was the one the page named: Puka Nacua sat. Davante Adams, 42 cents to catch six passes, caught eight for 195 yards and two touchdowns. Kyren Williams, 55 cents to clear 60 rushing yards, ran 12 times for 85. The Giants side of the board went 0 for 3, and the biggest reason was not on any injury report: Jameis Winston started at quarterback and Jaxson Dart threw five passes.

The Nacua Call

This page said Adams and Parkinson were a bet on the news, and that the time to buy was before the answer. Nacua did not play. Adams took the targets the page said would land on him, ten of them, and turned the 42-cent contract into the best result on the board: eight catches, 195 yards, two of Matthew Stafford's four touchdown passes. Anyone who bought at 42 cents Monday morning was paid at settlement, and anyone who waited for the inactives paid a higher price for the same contract.

Parkinson was the other half of that call and it missed. With Nacua out the throws went to Adams and to second-year tight end Terrance Ferguson, six catches for 54 yards and a touchdown, not to Parkinson, who caught two of two targets for 15 yards. The projection had the right idea about where the volume went and the wrong tight end.

Williams Did What The Page Said

Melbourne did not repeat. Williams ran 12 times for 85 yards, 7.1 a carry, with a 20-yard run, and caught a 10-yard touchdown pass. The Rams played from ahead the whole way, which is the script the page was betting on. Blake Corum still got his 12 carries, for 79 yards, and it did not matter: the Rams ran 28 times as a team. At 55 cents the market had this as a coin flip, and it was not one.

The Giants Side

Dart's bet needed him on the field. Winston started, threw 27 times for 111 yards and an interception, and Dart's night was three completions on five attempts with no rushing attempts. The 37-cent contract was a bet on Dart running downhill as the starter; without the start there was no bet. Likely was targeted ten times and caught five for 33 yards, more than anyone else on the Giants, but the Giants scored six points and never reached the end zone. A 24-cent anytime touchdown on a team that does not score is a loss, and that is the whole grade.

What The Week Taught

Buy the news before the answer when the projections already have it priced in. The Adams contract was the page's cleanest idea and its biggest payout. The Giants tickets were small on purpose, and small is the right size for a bet that depends on a quarterback the other team's injury report never mentioned.
