Giants vs Rams Player Props: A Coin Flip Worth Buying

Kyren Williams needs 60 rushing yards Monday night, Stokastic projects him for 74.6, and on Kalshi that bet costs 53 cents, a coin flip. That is the money on this page, and it does not depend on Puka Nacua's hip. Two more bets do: if Nacua sits, Davante Adams and Colby Parkinson catches are cheap at 43 and 40 cents, and if he plays they are not bets. The Giants side is Jaxson Dart, a rookie who runs, at 36 cents to clear 40 yards.

Favorites Hand Off

74.6 yards is the projection, and 60 is the line. The price is a coin flip because of Week 1: the Rams lost 27-7 to the 49ers, trailed by 20 in the second half, and a team down 20 stops handing off, so Williams finished with 11 carries for 41 yards. Monday is a different script. The Rams are home favorites, favorites with a lead run the ball, and this team runs more when Nacua is off the field. Stokastic has Williams past 60 in 69 of 100 games. The 70-yard line is cheaper at 42 cents, but he gets there only 55 times in 100, so I take the 60 and the smaller number.

Blake Corum is projected for 54 yards out of the same backfield, but Stokastic has the pair at 128 together, so Williams clears 60 with Corum getting his share. What beats this bet is the score: another early hole, and he stops short of 60 again.

Rookie Underdogs Run

The Giants' side is the same idea from the other bench. An underdog rookie quarterback runs. Dart carried 11 times for 54 yards against Dallas, with a 22-yard run, and 40 or more rushing yards on Monday trades at 36 cents. Stokastic projects 38.4 yards and has him over 40 in 45 of 100 games. The average sits under the line, and the bet works because the price sits lower still: it pays nearly two to one and wins almost half the time.

The objection is the Rams' front. If it keeps Dart in the pocket, he finishes in the 20s. But a rookie chasing a home favorite on the road gets more of his yards on the move, and the 22-yard run against Dallas is the shape of how he gets to 40: one long run does most of the work, and 36 cents leaves room for the nights it never comes. Keep it small, but keep it.

Nacua Decides Two Bets

Nacua saw nine targets in Week 1. If he sits, those targets have to go somewhere, and in Stokastic's numbers Adams gets them first and Parkinson second.

Adams caught three of six targets in the opener while Matthew Stafford threw 25 passes, and six or more catches costs 43 cents because of it. Without Nacua, Adams is the only Rams receiver projected above three catches, at 5.99, and when a home favorite with a lead does throw, it throws to him. He gets to six in 57 of 100 games. The Giants' secondary helps: Paulson Adebo went on injured reserve with a knee injury on September 19 and Deonte Banks is questionable with a calf, so Adams sees backups.

Parkinson is one step down. He had two targets and one catch in Week 1 while Nacua was healthy, which is why four or more catches still trades at 40 cents. Without Nacua, Stokastic has him at 3.96 catches and over four in 56 of 100 games. An average under four still clears four most nights, and the bet pays on the clear, not the average.

If Nacua plays, his targets come out of Adams first, Parkinson goes back to two, and neither is a bet. That is why they wait for 6:45 p.m. ET and the two runners do not.

What I Would Do

Buy Williams at 53 cents now and take Dart at 36 small. If Nacua's name is on the inactive list at 6:45 p.m. ET, buy Parkinson at 40 and Adams at 43. If he plays, buy only the two runners.
