Falcons vs Packers Player Props: The Backfield Nobody Trusts
By Jake Hari
September 24, 2026

Green Bay has played two games without a lead back, and the market prices the backs who split the carries like none of them will matter tonight. Stokastic's projections say two of them will: Kaleb Johnson first, MarShawn Lloyd second, and both are cheap. Those are the two Packers bets. The Falcons side is Bijan Robinson's rushing yards with Michael Penix Jr. back at quarterback, and the touchdown play is Tucker Kraft, the tight end Jordan Love throws to when the field gets short. Four bets, one game, and the first two are a bet that the Packers finally lean on the run.
| Bet | Kalshi price (sportsbook odds) | Stokastic projection | Chance to clear | The call |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Kaleb Johnson 30+ rushing yards | 58¢ (-138) | 44.7 yards | 74% | Buy now |
| MarShawn Lloyd 30+ rushing yards | 42¢ (+138) | 35.1 yards | 58% | Buy now |
| Bijan Robinson 70+ rushing yards | 60¢ (-150) | 81.5 yards | 65% | Buy now |
| Tucker Kraft anytime touchdown | 32¢ (+213) | 0.4 touchdowns | 34% | Buy now, small |
Josh Jacobs has not played this season and is out again tonight, so the Green Bay backfield is the same committee the market has watched for two weeks. Kalshi prices as of 8:10 a.m. ET Thursday, sportsbook odds are our conversion. Updated again after the 6:45 p.m. ET inactives. Kickoff 8:15 p.m. ET at Lambeau.
Johnson Gets The Carries
Green Bay has not had a lead back all season. Josh Jacobs has not played a snap in 2026, and the carries have gone to a committee: MarShawn Lloyd and Chris Brooks in the opener, then Kaleb Johnson in his first game of the season in Week 2, eight carries for 32 yards against the Jets, the most in the backfield that day. Nobody has cleared 30 yards in a game yet. That is the backfield 58 cents remembers, and it is why the price treats 30 yards as close to a coin flip for the back who just took the job.
Tonight is set up differently. The Packers are favored by five at home, they lost two starting linemen on Sunday, Aaron Banks and Zach Bako-Bewele, and Jayden Reed is out, so the offense Green Bay can still run is the one that hands the ball to a 224-pound back behind a patched line and keeps the clock moving. Stokastic's projections give Johnson 44.7 rushing yards, the most of any Packer. Atlanta's run defense is the one strength on that side of the ball, third in the league in rushing yards allowed, which is why the projection sits in the 40s and not the 60s, and why 30 is the right line to buy.
The risk is the committee itself. Lloyd and Brooks take carries too, and if Green Bay falls behind and throws, the whole backfield goes quiet. The break-even at 58 cents is 58%, and Stokastic has him clearing 30 yards 74 times in 100, the widest gap between a price and a chance on this board.
Lloyd Is The Cheaper Half
MarShawn Lloyd ran for 37 yards in the opener against Minnesota and 20 against the Jets, and 30 yards tonight trades at 42 cents on Kalshi, a long shot's price. It is priced as if Johnson taking over the top of the committee leaves nothing for the back who ran it in Week 1.
Stokastic's projections do not see it that way. They have Lloyd at 35.1 yards, second on the team, and a 58% chance to clear 30. He is the second back, the projection gives him a catch or two out of the backfield as well, and on a night when the Packers are favored by five at home and want to shorten the game, both backs get work.
The risk is the same as Johnson's, run from the other side: Johnson takes so much of the work that Lloyd's share never gets there. What makes it a bet anyway is the price. A 42-cent contract only has to be right 42 times in 100, and the projection says 58, so the room is 16 points on a cheaper ticket. Second Green Bay bet, same size.
Bijan Runs With Penix Back
Michael Penix Jr. practiced in full on Wednesday and starts tonight, his first game since last November's knee injury, after Cooper Rush threw two interceptions and was benched in a 34-3 loss to Carolina. The Falcons' offense with Rush was last in the league in scoring. What it did keep doing was run: Bijan Robinson went for 83 yards against Pittsburgh and 72 against Carolina, and Atlanta is fifth in the league in rushing.
Penix changes the shape of the game, not the plan. A quarterback who can hold a defense honest means fewer eight-man boxes for Robinson, and a Falcons team that is a five-point underdog still runs its offense through him. Stokastic projects 81.5 rushing yards tonight, and Robinson has cleared 70 in 14 of his last 19 games.
The risk is the Packers' front. Green Bay allows the third-fewest yards per carry in the league, and a game where Atlanta falls behind early takes the ball out of Robinson's hands. That is why the room here is five points, 65 against a 60-cent break-even, and not fifteen. Steadier player, smaller edge, still a buy.
Kraft In The End Zone
The search results for this game are full of anytime touchdown props, so here is the one Stokastic likes. Tucker Kraft to score trades at 32 cents, +213 at a sportsbook, and Stokastic projects 0.4 touchdowns for him, a 34% chance of at least one. Jayden Reed is out with a neck injury, which takes one of Love's starting receivers off the field, and the tight end is where a quarterback behind a patched line goes when the field gets short. Small ticket, same reason as the backs: the price is cheaper than the chance.
What To Buy
Buy Yes on Kaleb Johnson 30 or more rushing yards at 58 cents. The projection sits 15 yards past the line, the game plan hands him the ball, and a price that says 58% on a bet Stokastic has at 74% is the best number on the board.
Buy Yes on MarShawn Lloyd 30 or more rushing yards at 42 cents. The projection is five yards past the line and the price says long shot; Stokastic says better than a coin flip. Same size as Johnson.
Buy Yes on Bijan Robinson 70 or more rushing yards at 60 cents. The projection is 11.5 yards past the line and the chance is 65%; the Packers' front is why it is not a bigger edge.
Tucker Kraft to score a touchdown at 32 cents is the small ticket: 34% against a price that pays like 32.
The two Green Bay bets are a bet on the game plan, not on news. Two games of committee carries are why the prices are cheap, and a five-point home favorite with two linemen out and a starting receiver gone is why the projections say tonight is the night the Packers lean on the run. The prices are still the prices from the first two weeks. If you believe the projections, buy now; if the Packers run it the way Stokastic expects, these contracts will not be this cheap at halftime.
