The free FanDuel NFL DFS cheat sheet for Week 2, the Sunday, Sept. 20 main slate, says the field's favorite back is not owned enough. Three of the five most popular players are also leverage plays. The other two are not.

Play Bijan Robinson above his ownership: 47.9% owned, 74.0% top-150 exposure. Stack Justin Herbert (12.7%, tops the QB+2 panel) with Quentin Johnston, the top leverage play at 40.3%. I lean off Derrick Henry (29.6%) and Christian McCaffrey (28.5%), the chalk backs under the 40.7% exposure cutoff. The FLEX call is below.

Robinson's row is the one I keep coming back to: 74.0% exposure against 47.9% ownership is his 26.1% leverage. FanDuel's flatter scoring shrinks what fading him buys, and the fade gives up the top projection (22.4).
Why The Stack Panel Picks My Quarterback
It is Week 2, so projections still lean on last season. Half a point covers the four quarterbacks from Lamar Jackson (20.8) to Jayden Daniels (20.3), so that column cannot pick one. The stack panel can: Herbert's 12.7% clears Bryce Young's 8.0%.
The stack and exposure panels come from Stokastic Sims, which play the slate tens of thousands of times, so a stack's correlated scoring counts, as does the script that benches a back after halftime. Ownership Projections go in as a distribution, and top-150 exposure comes off the highest-ROI simulated lineups.
No catch-volume receiver cracks the value panel under FanDuel's half-point-per-catch scoring; five quarterbacks fill it. Of the three tied at 2.57 behind Drake Maye, Herbert's stack rate beats Dak Prescott's 4.7%, so I act on Herbert.
Worked Example: Herbert To A Nine-Man Roster
- Stack: Herbert, Johnston (54.0% exposure) and a second Chargers receiver from the NFL DFS ownership and stacks in the DataHub. Keep it at QB+2.
- Backs and tight end: Robinson, Javonte Williams and Mark Andrews (21.3% leverage).
- FLEX: Aaron Jones Sr. (23.1% leverage), a third back.
- Last receiver: a low-owned bring-back. This build tracks the exposure panel, so I take my leverage there, not in a Robinson fade.
