DraftKings MLB DFS Cheat Sheet: Aug. 20 Picks And Stacks

Today's free DraftKings MLB DFS cheat sheet from Stokastic says one name four times: Gavin Williams leads the projection, ownership, exposure, and leverage panels for Aug. 20. The arm is settled, the edge is in the bats, and I will turn one Cardinals row into a build below.
The Quick Answer
Start Williams against the Giants in every build: 20.1 projected DraftKings points and 77.3% top-150 exposure against 59.4% ownership, which still makes him the No. 1 leverage play at 17.6%. Ride the board's top five-stack, St. Louis at 8.7% against Cincinnati's Brady Singer, and take the sheet's bat-side leverage in Bobby Witt Jr. at 17.3%. The trap first: Ian Seymour projects second at 16.0 with 30.0% ownership, yet the same sheet stacks Toronto against him at 5.3% and puts Charles McAdoo (2.70 value, 16.8% leverage) and George Springer (16.8%) on the panels. When the Sims like both sides of a game, pick one; I never roster Seymour with Jays bats.
Two Arms, Then The Cardinals
DraftKings rosters two pitchers, so the second slot carries more of the build than on FanDuel. Mine is Robert Gasser: 14.2 projected against Seattle at just 18.7% ownership. Gage Jump (13.8, 29.3% exposure) works too, but he faces Witt, so my Witt lineups stay Jump-free.
The bats funnel to Great American Ball Park. St. Louis is the top stack at 8.7% against Singer, and the board names its core: Iván Herrera at 30.0% top-150 exposure, Joshua Báez at 2.55 value. Five bats from one team is the DraftKings cap and the classic GPP shape, because correlation pays the run and the RBI together — and the Stokastic Sims price that by playing this slate tens of thousands of times, with Ownership Projections modeled as a distribution, which is why Herrera and Báez surface on different panels but point at the same Cardinals rally.

Herrera's 30.0% exposure row becomes tonight's entry:
- Arms: Williams plus Gasser.
- Five Cardinals: Herrera, Báez, and three more from the MLB DFS projections, ownership and stacks in the DataHub.
- Secondary: skip the natural bring-back, Elly De La Cruz, at 20.2% ownership with no leverage row; a two-bat Athletics mini (7.3% stack) instead.
