DraftKings MLB DFS Cheat Sheet: Aug. 27 Picks And Stacks

Tonight's free DraftKings MLB DFS cheat sheet from Stokastic does something it rarely does: it agrees with the field. Jacob Misiorowski owns the Aug. 27 slate at 52.1% projected ownership, and the Sims roster him even harder. So the arms are settled — the edge is in the bats, and I will turn one Kansas City row into a full build below.

The Quick Answer

Eat both chalk arms. Misiorowski (23.8 projected DraftKings points) carries 63.3% top-150 exposure, above his ownership, and Chris Sale (20.0 projected) runs 45.3% against 39.9% owned. Spend your leverage on bats: Bobby Witt Jr. (35.3% exposure, 19.7% leverage) fronting the Kansas City five-stack at 7.3%, and Corbin Carroll at 20.8% leverage. Today's Board For Aug. 27

The value panel is the quiet one: none of its five rows, from Nate Furman's 3.02 down to Lars Nootbaar's 2.40, appears anywhere on the ownership panel. The Stokastic Sims play the slate tens of thousands of times and model ownership as a distribution, so a cheap row the field ignores is exactly what funds a stack.

Two Chalk Arms And The Manaea Pivot

DraftKings rosters two pitchers, so this panel carries more of the build than it does on FanDuel. Tonight the Sims say pay both tolls. When top-150 exposure runs above ownership on the top two arms, fading them is leverage you are not being paid for. The real pivot is slot two: Sean Manaea projects fifth at 14.3 but leads the leverage panel at 22.7%, while Yoshinobu Yamamoto (25.4% owned) and Gerrit Cole (18.8%) never crack the exposure top five. Misiorowski plus Manaea is my double-arm line.

Worked Example: Witt's Row To A Lineup

Witt's exposure row becomes tonight's entry:

1. Arms: Misiorowski plus Manaea.
2. Five Royals: Witt and four teammates from the MLB DFS projections, ownership and stacks in the DataHub. Five bats from one team is the DraftKings cap, and correlation pays the run and the RBI together.
3. Secondary: a two-bat San Francisco mini led by Rafael Devers, 18.0% leverage on the co-top 9.3% stack.
4. Funding: the last bat comes from the value column — Furman (20.5% leverage himself) or Charles McAdoo.

Where My Entries Land

Misiorowski at 52.1% is the rare half-owned favorite the Sims still want more of, so tonight is a win-the-bats night, not a fade-the-chalk night. My last-seat debate was Carroll's 20.8% leverage against the value column, and the value row wins it: Furman's 3.02 funds the five-Royals frame, while Carroll already rides beside Wells' Yankees in the mirror.
