The free DraftKings MLB DFS cheat sheet for Aug. 28 hands Dylan Cease the No. 1 row on four of its six panels: projections, ownership, top-150 exposure and leverage. When the Sims want even more of the field's biggest chalk than the field does, the slate is decided at the second arm and the stack. I will turn Carlos Narváez's value row into a full Baltimore build below.

The Quick Answer

Start Cease in one of your two pitcher slots: 69.3% top-150 exposure on 35.3% ownership, and the sheet's leverage panel agrees at 33.7%, the biggest number in that column. Fill the second slot with Jacob Lopez (42.7% exposure, 12.9% owned) or Quinn Mathews. The board's top stack is the Phillies at 12.7% against Reid Detmers, but my entry anchors the five-man Baltimore build with Narváez, the board's No. 1 value. The strangest pair on it: the No. 2 exposure arm and the No. 2 five-stack sit on opposite sides of the same game, Lopez against Baltimore. The Stokastic Sims replay the slate tens of thousands of times and rank lineups by simulated ROI, so the pool can hold both reads at once — a single entry cannot, and that fork is where my build lands.

Two Slots, One Settled

DraftKings rosters two pitchers, so this board settles more salary than FanDuel's does. Slot one is Cease. Slot two is where ownership goes wrong: Schlittler (19.7% owned), Henderson (16.4%) and Detmers (14.2%) soak up the field, and none of the three cracks the top-150 exposure panel. That is not a projection quarrel. Projection is a median, exposure comes from the 150 highest sim-ROI lineups, and those builds pay for Cease's ceiling and find their second arm on the value panel instead. The Sims' answers are Lopez, second in leverage at 29.1%, and Mathews, the only pitcher on the value panel at 2.45. Detmers is the fade with teeth — the Sims aim their top stack straight at him, five Phillies at 12.7%, fronted by Trea Turner (27.3% exposure, 20.1% leverage) with Edmundo Sosa's 2.51 the most efficient way to add a fourth Phillies bat. Five bats from one team is the DraftKings cap, and correlation is why the stack panel exists at all.

Worked Example: Narváez To A Baltimore Build

Why Baltimore over the higher-ranked Phillies stack? Narváez sits on three panels (No. 1 value at 2.61 projected points per $1,000 of salary, 20.7% top-150 exposure, 12.9% leverage) and he is the only catcher anywhere on the board, so the Baltimore five gets its correlation and its salary relief from the same row. His line becomes my entry:

1. Arms: Cease plus Mathews. Rostering Lopez would pit my pitcher against my own bats, so his 42.7% exposure belongs only to lineups without Orioles.
2. Five Orioles: Narváez and four teammates from the MLB DFS projections, ownership and stacks in the DataHub.
3. Secondary: a two-bat Phillies mini around Turner.
4. Funding: Josh Lowe (2.58), the Angels' value bat in that same Phillies game environment, or Jonah Cox (2.52) from the value column.

Where My Entries Land

For my Baltimore builds the arms are Cease and Mathews, and Lopez waits for the lineups without an Oriole in them. My split is two Narváez entries for every one mirror, because the value edge is real but the Phillies are still the Sims' top stack: the mirror keeps Cease, adds Lopez at his 12.9% ownership, and runs the Phillies five at Detmers. The exit condition is simple. If Narváez is not on Baltimore's lineup card at lock, the build loses its funding row and the mirror becomes the main. Cease's exposure gap is what every version is built around.
