Bucs vs. Cowboys Props and Parlays: Ask the Sims (TNF)
October 7, 2026

The search bar feature in the newest tool at Stokastic, the Kalshi Parlay Simulator, works like a Magic 8-Ball that has already watched Thursday's game 10,000 times. Simply type in any question for Thursday Night's Buccaneers/Cowboys matchup, wait literally one second, and the Stokastic Sims count up every game where it came true. It's called Ask the Sims, and it will take just about anything you throw at it, from a single touchdown prop to a five-leg parlay it builds for you.
Ask it something as broad as "best 3-leg parlay" or as granular as how often the running back scores when the underdog wins by four, and it fires back an answer from 10,000 simulated games in a matter of seconds. Once the game kicks off, the Sims live update right along with it, so the same search bar becomes a running read on every market while you're trading in-game.
So let's throw a few at it together. The Buccaneers head into Arlington at 0-4 on the season with Jalon Daniels, an undrafted rookie out of Kansas, making his second NFL start while Baker Mayfield nurses a dislocated thumb. The Cowboys are 2-2 with the second-highest scoring offense in the league at 30.5 points per game. I asked the Sims six questions about this one, and the answer I'm most excited about is a touchdown price you don't see this often. More on that in a minute.
How Ask the Sims Works
Scroll past the score picker on the Kalshi Parlay Simulator and you'll find a search bar with a game dropdown beside it. Pick the game, type your question the way you'd text it to a friend, and hit Ask. Every answer card carries the same pieces, and the Bucky Irving card in question #3 below is a good example:
- Sims Result is how often something happened across all 10,000 games. Irving scored in 4,040 of them, so 40.4%, or +148.
- On Kalshi is the live price: 33.5¢ (+199).
- Current Script is how often it hit in the 400 Sims closest to the score you picked up top. Irving scored in 44.3% of the games that finished near 28-19.
- The verdict grades it Good Value, Fair Value or Negative Value and tells you the most the Sims would pay, which here is 40.4¢.
- Scroll further down any card and you'll also find the alt lines, the props that pair well with it and the other side of the bet.
A few things I learned typing in everything I could think of:
- Plain English works. "Do the Buccaneers win?" and "Best CeeDee Lamb props" both get answers.
- "And" builds a parlay, and the Sims price the legs together, so legs that tend to happen in the same game get credit for it.
- You can attach conditions, like "and the Cowboys still win."
- It also answers things Kalshi doesn't list, like a player's longest catch or who scores the first touchdown.
- It takes one question a minute, so make each one count.
Get as granular as you want
Here's where it gets fun. That Current Script number re-asks your question on the 400 Sims closest to the final score you pick at the top of the page. At the default 28-19 Dallas score, Irving scores in 44.3% of those games. Flip it to a Buccaneers upset, 24-20, and the same question comes back at 54.8%, because in the games that end that way the Sims have Tampa Bay running it 64% of the time and Dallas throwing it 64% of the time trying to catch up. The player and the question stay the same, and the game script alone moves his number by more than 10 points.
You can push the play-calling sliders the same way, or stack conditions right into the question ("...and the Cowboys still win"), and the Sims re-count all 10,000 games every time. Once Thursday's game starts, they keep updating live, so the answer you get at halftime reflects the game you're actually watching.
The Questions
All screenshots from Ask the Sims, Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
1. "Jalon Daniels 40+ rushing yards"

Daniels ran eight times for 55 yards in his debut against Green Bay, and Kalshi is pricing that like a habit at 60.7¢ (-154). The Sims have him getting there 55.2% of the time (-123), grade it Negative Value and suggest the under at 43.7¢ (+129) against a 44.8% Sims result. That's barely a cent of room, and every alt line from 30 yards to 50 grades Negative Value, so I'm passing on both sides.
2. "Do the Buccaneers win?"

The winless Buccaneers win 24.0% of the Sims (+317), and Kalshi has them at 22.2¢ (+350), so the card grades it Good Value at about 8 cents of edge per dollar, with Kalshi's fee already baked into that 22.2¢. It's a real edge on a winless team, but I'd rather get my Tampa Bay exposure through Irving, who's up next.
3. "How often does Bucky Irving score a touchdown?"

This is the biggest gap I found in Tampa Bay's favor. Irving scores in 40.4% of the Sims (+148), and Kalshi is selling it at 33.5¢ (+199). That 33.5¢ already includes Kalshi's taker fee (a 32¢ ask plus 1.5¢ of fee), and the card says it's worth buying up to 40.4¢, so there are nearly 7 cents of room. He's also the Bucs' most likely first touchdown scorer in the Sims, and this is the headliner for me: it's hard to find a touchdown inside +200 carrying this much edge on a week-in, week-out basis.
4. "Best CeeDee Lamb props"

You don't even need a specific line in mind. Ask for a player's best props and the Sims rank every Kalshi line where they beat the price by the most, and Lamb's list tells a story: five of his six best values are NO on his receptions, at every rung from five catches to nine, and the one YES on the board is his touchdown.
| Lamb line | Side | Sims | Kalshi |
|---|---|---|---|
| 5+ receptions | NO | 29.5¢ | 26.3¢ |
| 6+ receptions | NO | 44.8¢ | 40.7¢ |
| 7+ receptions | NO | 60.3¢ | 57.7¢ |
| 8+ receptions | NO | 74.4¢ | 70.5¢ |
| 9+ receptions | NO | 84.6¢ | 81.1¢ |
| Anytime TD | YES | 52.5¢ | 49.7¢ |
Lamb leads the NFL with 37 catches through four games, which works out to more than nine a game, and Kalshi is pricing him for something close to that. The Sims see a lower-volume night against a Tampa Bay defense that ranks fourth in yards allowed, with Lamb reaching nine catches in only 15.4% of games, and they still have him finding the end zone 52.5% of the time against Kalshi's 49.7¢ (+101). In other words, the Sims expect fewer catches and the same trip to the end zone. Betting against a guy averaging more than nine catches a game takes some nerve, so if you want a piece of it, the NO on 6+ receptions carries the biggest gap on the list at 4.1 cents with Kalshi's fee already included (40.7¢ against a 44.8% Sims result).
5. "Could Dak throw for 300+ yards and Pickens go for 100+ receiving yards?"

Dak threw for 335 yards in last week's 34-30 win over Houston, and Pickens went for 1,429 yards last season on his way to the franchise tag, so the ceilings are real. The Sims still have a hard time getting Dallas to the big yardage numbers in this matchup. Dak reaches 300 in 26.7% of the Sims against 34.5¢ on Kalshi, the biggest single-leg gap I found all morning, and Pickens reaches 100 in 19.8% against 21.1¢. Together they hit 10.4% of the time (+862), while the card estimates Kalshi's market makers would quote the combo around 12.6¢. Both legs grade Negative Value on their own, so the combo does too.
The better bet is the other side: Dak under 300 yards sits at 69.5¢ (-228) on Kalshi against a 73.3% Sims result (-275). Tampa Bay's defense ranks fourth in yards allowed at 282.8 per game, which goes a long way toward explaining why the Sims aren't buying the hype.
6. "Best 5-Leg Parlay"

For the grand finale, I stopped asking about specific players and just asked for the best five-leg parlay on the board. The search bar can be as broad or as specific as you want, and this is what came back: three ready-made five-leg combos, each with the Sims price, the price Kalshi's market makers will likely quote, and the edge per contract with Kalshi's fee already baked in.
| Combo | Legs | Sims | Expected on Kalshi | Edge, fee in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| #1 | Jalon Daniels under 225 passing yards, Jake Ferguson doesn't score, Dak Prescott doesn't score, Hunter Luepke doesn't score, Dak Prescott under 4 passing TDs | 54.6¢ | 43.4¢ (+130) | +9.5¢ |
| #2 | Jalon Daniels under 200 passing yards, CeeDee Lamb under 8 receptions, Tyler Goodson under 25 rushing yards, Dak Prescott under 300 passing yards, Javonte Williams under 2 TDs | 24.8¢ | 17.8¢ (+461) | +6.0¢ |
| #3 | Bucky Irving scores a TD, Tyler Goodson under 20 rushing yards, Buccaneers win by 4+, Javonte Williams doesn't score, Dak Prescott under 275 passing yards | 3.8¢ | 1.5¢ (+6647) | +2.2¢ |
Look at what the Sims built when left to their own devices: unders, no-scores and a rookie quarterback who stays under 225 yards. Combo #1 is a five-leg parlay that hits in more than half of the Sims, and the market makers would likely sell it at 43.4¢ (+130). Combo #2 stacks everything this article has been saying into one ticket, with Lamb's catch total and Dak's 300 yards both on the under. Combo #3 is the full Happy Gilmore comeback script, Irving in the end zone and the Buccaneers winning by four or more, and it hits in 3.8% of the Sims against an expected 1.5¢.
One thing to keep in mind: "Expected" is the Sims' estimate of what Kalshi's market makers will quote, and the real quote can come back different. Hit Build It, see the actual price, and only buy if it's still well under what the Sims say it's worth.
What the Sims Are Telling Us
Line up the answers and one theme jumps out: Kalshi is pricing the Dallas offense's reputation, and the Sims are pricing a Tampa Bay defense that ranks fourth in yards allowed and third against the run.
| Market | Kalshi | Sims |
|---|---|---|
| Dak Prescott 300+ passing yards | 34.5¢ | 26.7% |
| George Pickens 100+ receiving yards | 21.1¢ | 19.8% |
| CeeDee Lamb under 6 receptions | 40.7¢ | 44.8% |
| CeeDee Lamb anytime TD | 49.7¢ | 52.5% |
| Bucky Irving anytime TD | 33.5¢ | 40.4% |
| Buccaneers win | 22.2¢ | 24.0% |
Kalshi prices and Sims results from Ask the Sims, Wednesday, October 7, 2026.
The Sims want the unders on the Dallas passing game and Lamb's catch total, and they want the touchdowns from Lamb and Irving. The five-leg list they built on their own says the same thing.
The Fee Math
A reminder for the fine folks newer to Kalshi: they charge a taker fee on every trade, and the Simulator bakes it right into the price it shows you. Hover the little info icon next to any Kalshi price and you'll see the split; Irving's 33.5¢, for example, is a 32¢ ask plus 1.5¢ of fee. Every Kalshi price in this article is fee-in, so it's what you actually pay, and the edge figures on the answer cards are already net of it.
The Card
Bucky Irving anytime touchdown, 33.5¢ (+199), fee included. The Sims say 40.4% (+148). This is the one I'm leading with, because a touchdown inside +200 with this much edge doesn't come around every week.
Dak Prescott under 300 passing yards, 69.5¢ (-228), fee included. The Sims say 73.3% (-275).
CeeDee Lamb anytime touchdown, 49.7¢ (+101), fee included. The Sims say 52.5% (-111). That's about 3 cents of edge, so shop DraftKings and FanDuel first and take whichever price is best.
Three separate tickets, never a parlay.
Final Thoughts
The Sims are lower on the Dallas passing game and Lamb's catch total than the market, higher on Lamb and Irving finding the end zone, and they built a five-leg parlay that hits more often than it misses.
Every long shot on this page is more likely to miss than hit: the Buccaneers moneyline misses in 76% of the Sims, and that five-leg #3 misses in more than 96% of them, so size them like it. Quarter-unit stakes on the long ones, no chasing, no hero sizing. These are market prices and model estimates, and nothing here is financial advice. Prices move all day, so check the live number before you buy and make sure you're getting the best one available.
Whether you want a general best bet or something as specific as a running back's touchdown odds in a four-point upset, the Sims play the game 10,000 times in seconds and hand you a price to hold Kalshi against, and they keep updating once the ball is in the air. Go ask them a question of your own, one per minute, and keep asking after kickoff.
