Knicks Reportedly Front-Runners To Land ‘Very Available’ Collin Sexton

With the NBA Finals in full swing, teams are beginning to map out their offseason plans. For the Cleveland Cavaliers, that could include trading speedy point guard Collin Sexton.

According to reports, the Cavs have made it clear to teams around the league that Sexton will be “very available” in the trade market this offseason. Shams Charania is also reporting that the Knicks have been the most aggressive team to pursue the young point guard.

New York Knicks fans have reacted with hopeful optimism to the news that their backcourt could be bolstered with the skilled Collin Sexton.

While Collin Sexton is still working out some growing pains, he has shown some flashes of brilliance in the NBA. Especially when he had the Cavs’ point guard position to himself after Darius Garland got hurt at the end of the year.

The Knicks might have to give up a decent package for Sexton’s services, but it might be worth it to continue to build young, exciting pieces to an up-and-coming Knicks team.

The NBA is simply a better league when the New York Knicks are competitive. And Collin Sexton might fill a rather large void for the team.
