Week 6 PrizePicks CFB Over/Unders | Saturday, Oct. 9

Sam Howell — Over 304.5 Yards Passing

In Howell’s last four games his yardage totals have been 352, 307, 306 and 321. He has done this on 25 or fewer attempts in each of these games, and he should extend this streak against Florida State. Last year North Carolina was upset by Florida State, and Howell threw for 374 yards on 36 attempts. Generally it is a good idea to pair receivers with quarterbacks, but Josh Downs has a good line, so Howell is a standalone play.

Mikey Keene — Over 188.5 Yards Passing

Eastern Carolina is giving up 318 yards passing per game this year, and Keene should be much more comfortable at home this week than he was against Navy. There is no news on whether Jaylon Robinson will play, but even if he is, Keene is likely to go over 200 yards against one of the worst pass defenses in the country. Last weekend against Navy he only threw for 178 yards, but their pass defense and style of play do not help the passing game. The over/under for this game is 67 points, with UCF a 10-point favorite.

Tyler Badie — Over 79.5 Yards Rushing

Missouri is taking on North Texas, and the spread is currently 19 points in favor of Missouri. This year Badie has cleared over 80 yards rushing in both of Missouri’s wins, and the spread does not lead one to believe he will get pulled early. This year North Texas has given up 4.3 yards a carry and will be outmatched against this Missouri rushing attack. On 20 carries, Badie should be able to hit the 100-yard rushing mark.

Abram Smith– Under 81.5 Yards Rushing

West Virginia has been one of the best run defenses in the country, and Smith has not had over 10 carries in either of the past two games. These are also the first two competitive conference games that Baylor has played, and after Week 1 West Virginia has not given up over 60 yards rushing to any running back. Baylor is a run-heavy team but will spread the touches around, with nobody getting over 40% of the carries. Baylor is only 2.5-point favorites at home in a game with a 44 point over/under.

Brandon Johnson — Over 61.5 Yards Receiving

If Robinson misses the game, a wide receiver will need to step up, and Johnson is the favorite target in the one-game sample. Against Navy Johnson managed 79 yards on four receptions and eight targets. East Carolina has given up over 100 yards receiving to a single player in every FBS matchup they have had so far.
