UFC 285 DFS Picks: Jon Jones-Ciryl Gane DFS Plays

Top-End Pick: Ian Garry | DraftKings: $9,300 , FanDuel: $21

Ian Garry hype train will continue in this bout with Kenan Song as he finds another finish in the bright lights on his fourth pay-per-view card of his young career. This will be his toughest test so far as Song is a dangerous striker but expect Garry to pass with flying colors in this one. Garry has been impressive, bringing a 10-0 record with five wins via knockout, one via submission, and four via decision. According to The Top Fighters Tool he has 86.6% win odds and a 33.7% chance of being a top-6 fighter.

Mid-Priced Pick: Cameron Saaiman| DraftKings: $8,800, FanDuel: $19

Cameron Saaiman has been impressive in his pro career with seven successive wins with five coming via knockout, one via submission, and one via decision. He will need to pace himself and not rush in against a power striker of Mana Martinez caliber. That said, If Saaiman stays the course and uses his jab, pressure, power striking, and cardio it will cause havoc for Martinez and lead to another finish via knockout. Stokastic’s UFC 285 DFS projections, give Cameron Saaiman 70.5% win odds with a 38.9% chance for a knockout.

Mid-Priced Pick: Julian Marquez | DraftKings: $8,000, FanDuel: $15

Julian Marquez always brings excitement inside the octagon but can be reckless and find himself in dangerous situations. He is coming off a disappointing knockout loss to Gregory Rodrigues in June. Prior to, Marquez was riding a two-fight winning streak with submissions over Maki Pitolo and Sam Alvey. Expect Marquez to wear on Marc-Andre Barriault and bring heavy pressure to the point of him getting fatigued. Marquez then should be able to get  back in the win column with another submission. According to Stokastic’s UFC DFS projections, Julian Marquez has 42.4% win odds with a 32.5% chance for a knockout.

Value Pick: Jalin Turner | DraftKings: $7,600, FanDuel: $13

Jalin Turner is currently riding a five-fight winning streak with three coming via submission and two via knockout. He has finished everyone within two rounds and will be looking to add to his dominance against Mateusz Gamrot. Turner was originally scheduled to face Dan Hooker who had to withdraw due to injury. Since Gamrot is ranked above Turner this becomes a more important fight and expect Turner to bring it once again. Stokastic’s UFC 285 DFS projections, give him 33.7% win odds.

Quick Pick : Ciryl Gane  | DraftKings: $7,800, FanDuel: $17

Ciryl Gane has solid value with his skill set and should be able to out strike Jon Jones if this fight plays out on the feet.
