Anthony Edwards M/L Than 24.5 Points

In 37 minutes of play during Game 1 – Anthony Edwards finished the game with 18 points on 38.5% shooting from the field.

It was an underwhelming result from the Timberwolves star player – and it’s not the first time we’ve seen a performance like this from him.

Edwards is a volatile postseason scorer — capable of dropping 40 on any team, but also prone to quieter nights. He’s been held under 25 points in 6 of 11 games this postseason.

I expect another lackluster result. The Oklahoma City Thunder have the best defense in the NBA – it’s no fluke that Edwards was relatively limited in the first meeting.

The T’Wolves lack offensive depth, so all the Thunder have to do is put extra attention toward Edwards, contain him, and force other players to try and score. This will lead Edwards into a tough environment and make it difficult for him to eclipse 24.5 points tonight.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Anthony Edwards Less Than 24.5 Points

Rudy Gobert M/L Than 7.5 Rebounds

A notable aberration in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals was seeing Rudy Gobert finish with just three rebounds.

This is uncommon for the T’Wolves 7-footer, as Gobert averaged 11 boards per game during the regular season and 9 during this playoff run.

The good news for us bettors, is that the books have overreacted to his stat-line and have brought down his rebounds prop to 7.5. This is a great opportunity for us to buy-low on this prop and take his over.

Also, Stokastic’s NBA DFS Projections have Gobert finishing with 9 boards this evening.

DraftKings Pick6 Prediction: Rudy Gobert More Than 7.5 Rebounds
