NFL DFS Week 4 First Look: DraftKings Pricing Takeaways and Top DFS Picks

Pricing shifts fast in DraftKings NFL, but heading into NFL DFS Week 4 there are still major misprices that stand out. Some players have stepped into full workhorse roles yet remain in the mid-tier range, while others have seen their salaries rise despite shaky usage or tough matchups. Breaking down the Week 4 board, it’s clear that the biggest edges come from targeting underpriced running backs and wide receivers while steering clear of risky overvalued plays.

Underpriced Smash Plays

When building NFL DFS Week 4 lineups on DraftKings, the biggest edge comes from identifying salaries that haven’t caught up to recent usage spikes. Several running backs stand out as clear values:

Jonathan Taylor ($7,500, IND)

Through three games, Taylor has dominated with 338 rushing yards, four touchdowns and explosive efficiency. Despite elite production, his salary lags well behind where it should be. In any other spot, Taylor would be priced over $8,500, making him one of the best NFL DFS picks for Week 4.

Saquon Barkley ($7,600, PHI)

Barkley benefits from an Eagles offense that suddenly found rhythm in Week 3. With defenses now forced to respect Philadelphia’s passing attack, Barkley should see lighter boxes and more big-play opportunities. His price hasn’t moved, making him a strong buy-low candidate.

Omarion Hampton ($5,900, LAC)

With Najee Harris out for the season, Hampton stepped into a full workhorse role, handling 25 touches. DraftKings only bumped his salary into the mid-$5,000 range, but bell-cow backs at this price are rare. Expect heavy ownership in Week 4.

Quinshon Judkins ($5,500, CLE)

Judkins logged 18 carries in Week 3 while his backfield competition disappeared. At just $5,500, he projects as a true feature back at a discount.

TreVeyon Henderson ($5,200, NE)

Both Rhamondre Stevenson and Antonio Gibson coughed up costly fumbles, paving the way for Henderson’s season-high workload. If the coaching staff rewards him with the lead role, this salary will look far too low.

Tre Tucker ($4,200, LV)

Tucker is the most glaring misprice at wide receiver. He leads the league in touchdowns (four) and ranks top 15 in receiving yards (thanks to 145 and three touchdowns in Week 3, yet DraftKings left him priced like a punt option. That’s a free square in Week 4 DFS DraftKings builds.

Fairly Priced Options

Not every trending player is a screaming value. A few landed in the “correctly adjusted” range for DraftKings NFL DFS.

Emeka Egbuka ($6,800, TB) – With Mike Evans dealing with another hamstring issue, Egbuka is in line for WR1 usage. DraftKings priced him up near $7,000, which is fair. He has a high ceiling but isn’t the same glaring value as Tucker or Judkins.

Nico Collins ($7,400, HOU) – Collins broke out for eight catches, 104 yards and a touchdown in Week 3, but Houston’s offensive struggles cap his consistency. DraftKings adjusted accordingly, leaving him in the “solid but not smash” tier.

These players are worth rostering in stacks or leverage builds, but they aren’t the glaring inefficiencies you want to lock into every lineup.

Overpriced or Risky DFS Picks

Some names look more dangerous than enticing for NFL DFS Week 4:

Brian Thomas Jr. ($6,100) – Despite a big late-game reception in Week 3, Thomas has been invisible otherwise and faces a brutal upcoming schedule. Even if DraftKings dropped his price, the risk outweighs the reward.

Sterling Shepard ($4,000, TB) – Shepard projects as the WR2 in Tampa with Evans sidelined, but his track record makes him a volatile DFS play. At min-price, he’s tempting, but there’s real risk of a 3-catch, 30-yard outcome.
