Ambetter 301 NASCAR DFS Tournament & GPP Picks | DraftKings & FanDuel

The field has been set for this Sunday’s Ambetter 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon for NASCAR’s fifth visit to a short flat track this season. With Martin Truex Jr and Chase Elliott leading the field to green on Sunday, let’s dive into the best tournament plays for this weekend’s race.

NASCAR DFS GPP Picks Today: New Hampshire

NASCAR heads to Loudon this weekend to take on another bout with a shorter flat track at New Hampshire. These tracks don’t typically provide the most exciting racing, but that does make them more projectable for fantasy and betting purposes as on-track activity during Saturday’s sessions tend to carry over into Sunday often. With 300 laps on the schedule, nailing the dominators will be key when taking down tournaments across DFS contests. Always look to roster at least two per lineup, and get to three when possible.

Top Driver Picks & Projections

William Byron $9,400 DraftKings/$10,000 FanDuel (6th)

Byron has already dominated at a short flat track earlier in the season and he is in a prime position to do it once again as he has solid track position to start the race. He also posted top 2 speeds in practice across the board and his price point on both sites make him a very attractive secondary dominator option to pair with another high-priced driver.

Kevin Harvick $8,800 DraftKings/$8,200 FanDuel (10th)

While prime Harvick does not often show up these days, he has been very fast at the short flat tracks this year and is even top five in average green flag speed. If there’s a race for him to potentially win to get a playoff push it is going to be at a track type like this and his car had excellent long run speed during Saturday’s practice session.

Aric Almirola $8,100 DraftKings/$7,800 FanDuel (7th)

Viewing Almirola as a similar play to Harvick this weekend as they are teammates and should carry some similar speed. AA is also the most recent winner here at New Hampshire and also showed some strong speed in practice. Ever since joining SHR he has excelled at the short flat tracks and that is no different this season.

Latest NASCAR DFS Content

Erik Jones $7,300 DraftKings/$7,000 FanDuel (22nd)

With Jones priced around other drivers starting further back, he should go a little lower owned than his counterparts, but there is potential for him to grab a higher finish than the rest. He showed a lot of speed at Gateway and was also fast in practice on Saturday. He has shown the ability to contend for top 15s and 10s this year and this week is no different.

Chris Buescher $6,100 DraftKings/$7,200 FanDuel (16th)

With Austin Dillon soaking up the majority of the ownership here, Buescher is an excellent position to be a pivot option in tournaments. He has very similar numbers to AD at short flat tracks this year and the RFK team showed a decent amount of speed this weekend. Even though he starts much further up, the finishing position upside is higher.
