Top 3 Week 10 Defense Rankings & D/ST Streaming Options | Fantasy Football 2021

The Bears, Bengals, Giants and Texans will all be on a bye in Week 10, which means none of the top defenses/special teams (D/ST) will be out for fantasy football purposes. The bad news is, three of those teams have bad offenses, which means that fantasy gamers will not be able to stream against them. If looking for a D/ST to deploy, consider the following units that are still available in the majority of leagues. Also, check out the Awesemo projections to see what is projected for all of the teams that will be in action.

Week 10 Fantasy Football Streaming D/ST Rankings

Baltimore Ravens (49% available)

With the Ravens still available in just under half of leagues, it is worth checking the  waiver wire for them. They have not been as impressive as in season’s past, which is why they are probably still available in this many leagues. They gave up 41 points to the Bengals two games ago, then followed that up by allowing 31 points to the Vikings on Sunday.

The good news is that it does not get much better than their Week 10 matchup against the Dolphins, which will be played on Thursday Night Football. The Dolphins only scored 17 points in their win over the Texans on Sunday and have now scored 20 points or fewer in seven of their nine games. They could also be compromised at quarterback again. Tua Tagovailoa (finger/ribs) was forced to sit out Week 9, and a quick turnaround Thursday might not be ideal. If he cannot play, that would mean another start for Jacoby Brissett, who has five touchdown passes and three interceptions across his four starts.

Tennessee Titans (92% available)

The Titans were in a tough spot Sunday night, playing the Rams without Derrick Henry (foot). They needed their defense to help pick up the slack, and they certainly did not disappoint. Not only did they sack Matthew Stafford five times, but they generated two interceptions, one of which they returned for a touchdown.

It should come as no surprise that the Titans put plenty of pressure on Stafford given that their 23 sacks are tied for the sixth most in the league. They will try to follow up that strong performance in what should be a favorable matchup against the Saints, who are without Jameis Winston (knee) at quarterback. They started Trevor Siemian in his absence Sunday, which was a bit of a surprise given that Taysom Hill was healthy. Hill’s rushing ability makes him a more dangerous option, so fantasy managers in need of a streaming D/ST might be hoping for Siemian to start. Either way, their offense could be limited enough to make the Titans appealing.

Seattle Seahawks (93% available)

The Seahawks had a bye during Week 9 after registering a much-needed win against the Jaguars the week prior. They had lost three straight, some of which can be attributed to the struggles of their offense with Geno Smith under center. Their defense did not allow more than 26 points in any of those losses and is only allowing an average of 21.1 points per game.

Good news has welcomed the Seahawks out of the bye, with Russell Wilson ready to return from IR. They will be facing the Packers, who have a quarterback situation of their own after Aaron Rodgers contracted COVID-19. He did not play against the Chiefs on Sunday, which contributed to the Packers scoring only 7 points. If Rodgers is not cleared for this game, which is a possibility since the earliest he can return to the team is Saturday, then the Seahawks defense could thrive versus Jordan Love.
