After running thousands of simulated DraftKings lineups through the Stokastic Sims, we pulled the top 150 results (each with at least three unique players) to see which players, stacks and leverage spots are separating from the field. Week 8 NFL DFS picks and stacks show clear tiers: A few elite cores, several mid-tier value clusters and a handful of cheap one-offs that keep appearing in winning builds.

Quarterbacks: Daniel Jones Headlines a Wide-Open Slate
The Sims loved one QB above all: Daniel Jones (47 lineups). The Colts offense is humming, and Jones also has rushing floor that keeps him in more optimal lineups than any other quarterback.
Behind him:
- Joe Flacco (27): Steady projection, correlated with Ja’Marr Chase stacks.
- Lamar Jackson (18): Balanced ceiling, leverage off high-owned RBs.
- Bo Nix (14) and Baker Mayfield (13): Pivots to pair with stud WRs.
Running Backs: Henry, Hall and White Own the Slate
The top tier of RBs was incredibly tight:
- Derrick Henry (67 lineups): Top projection for workload and touchdown equity.
- Breece Hall (64): Elite usage and pass-game upside.
- Rachaad White (63): Salary-friendly workhorse in softer matchup.
Next came the flexible second tier:
- Jonathan Taylor (38) and Bijan Robinson (31): Strong floor/ceiling balance.
- De’Von Achane (30): Explosive tournament play with volatile volume.
- Christian McCaffrey (15): Lower exposure due to pricing but still viable in premium stacks.
Wide Receivers: Ja’Marr Chase and Zay Flowers Dominate Exposure
This week’s WR pool wasn’t close: Ja’Marr Chase (102 lineups) and Zay Flowers (86) were the clear focal points. They anchor most high-ROI builds, either as correlated stacks or one-offs.
The next tier included:
- Michael Pittman Jr. (49): Top mid-tier WR, strong correlation with Jones and Alec Pierce.
- Emeka Egbuka (21), Drake London (20), Jaylen Waddle (19): Balanced plays in mid-salary range.
- Tee Higgins (18): Direct leverage off Chase at lower ownership.
Tight Ends: Dalton Schultz and Tyler Warren Are Elite Values
Tight end exposure concentrated heavily in two names:
- Dalton Schultz (67 lineups): Slate’s best combination of role, salary and projection.
- Tyler Warren (55): Affordable red zone threat used most often in Jones stacks.
Next in line:
- Cade Otton (41): Strong TE3 option tied to Mayfield stacks.
- Kyle Pitts (18) and George Kittle (17): High-ceiling pivots in contrarian lineups.
Defenses: Bengals Chalk, Eagles Ceiling
DST exposure was more balanced than usual:
- Bengals (26 lineups): Best point-per-dollar defense.
- Eagles (19): Ceiling option in high-pressure matchup.
- Texans (14), Saints (13), Dolphins (13): All viable mid-tier pivots.

The top 150 Sims highlight three repeating stack archetypes:
- Daniel Jones + Tyler Warren + Michael Pittman Jr.: Balanced correlation.
- Joe Flacco + Ja’Marr Chase + Tee Higgins: Heavy ceiling with correlated volume.
- Lamar Jackson + Zay Flowers: High-upside stack with some risk, appearing in multiple GPP-viable builds.
