NFL DFS Lineup Advice for Week 12 | Lineup GeneratorÂ
First, you’ll choose the DFS slate of your choice: DraftKings Main, DraftKings Showdown, FanDuel Main or FanDuel Single Game. Then it’s time to let Lineup Generator know what kind of build you’re going for: All, Chalky, Balanced or Contrarian.
For Friday, we chose the DraftKings Showdown slate and decided to focus on Balanced lineups.
Lastly, we can pick our preferred game scenario and adjust the numbers as desired, or we can skip this step and use standard projections like we did for Friday’s game.
We’re done with our initial inputs and now we can easily generate positive expected value DraftKings Showdown lineups.
Once on the Stokastic NFL Lineup Generator, we can change between builds, swap out players, and save along the way, and we can navigate through a summary screen featuring player and stack exposures, along with more detailed information on each individual lineup we’ve saved.
The Dolphins are favored by 9.5 points in a game with a total of 40.5 points. New York, who will turn to Tim Boyle as the starting quarterback, has one of the lowest team totals of the entire week at 16 points.
IMPORTANT: De’Von Achane (knee) is officially questionable but is not expected to play. He is not being included in Stokastic’s projections and other tools as of now. If his status changes and he’s active, that will obviously have a drastic effect on the rest of the slate, so be sure to check back for the most up-to-date data.
So how are things looking for our first Lineup Generator run? It’s Tyreek Hill (65%) and Raheem Mostert (50%) who are the two most popular players among the 20 saved lineups.
Here’s a fuller look at the highest exposures:
Stokastic’s data for this NFL DFS Showdown matchup shows Tyreek Hill with a 32.8% top scorer probability, the highest on the slate by a wide margin. It’s not surprising whatsoever to see the game-breaking receiver as our highest exposure for our initial Lineup Generator run (60%), even up against a talented Jets secondary.
Next up on the top scorer probability list is Garrett Wilson all the way down at 14.8%, with Breece Hall at 11.4%, Jaylen Waddle at 10.8%, Tua Tagovailoa at 9.4% and Raheem Mostert at 7.5%.
Mostert shows up in half of our generated positive expected value lineups, while Wilson, Hall and Tagovailoa are all in 40% of our 20 saved teams. Waddle is at 35% ownership for the run and is at 15% in the CPT spot ($14,400).
Our most popular captain is Mostert ($15,300), who is in 20% of our generated DraftKings NFL DFS Showdown lineups. Hill is in 10% of our lineups at the CPT spot at $18,600 and is showing as the optimal captain 16.8% of the time per Stokastic’s simulations.
Looking for salary savings? Jeff Wilson Jr. may be worth considering, as he hit 30% of our generated lineups at his low $1,800 asking price. On our Showdown Top Plays tool, Wilson is showing as optimal in the UTIL spot at a 27.8% clip and he has a positive leverage mark of 7.6%.
As for Tim Boyle, the new Jets’ starter is in 30% of the teams at his $6,000 salary. It’s going to be interesting to see if New York’s offense shows any signs of life whatsoever after moving on from Zach Wilson. Boyle has a 4.0% top scorer probability, 6.7% optimal captain rate and 39.3% optimal UTIL rate for Friday’s game.
