The SuperFlex format on OwnersBox NFL DFS makes it extremely important to get quarterbacks and their stacking partners correct since you’re likely to be rostering two players from the position. SuperFlex DFS also causes the best DFS plays at quarterback to be higher owned, but when the value is there it can be hard to fade.
OwnersBox NFL DFS Strategy: Top Quarterbacks
Given the importance of finding standout QBs, let’s take a look at the best quarterbacks for NFL Week 13 using Stokastic’s custom OwnersBox NFL DFS projections.
OwnersBox DFS Quarterback Plays
Jalen Hurts, $7,600
Hurts has the highest projection (21.53 fantasy points) of any quarterback on the slate despite a tough matchup with a 49ers defense giving up the 28th-most schedule-adjusted fantasy-points-per-game to quarterbacks over the past 5 weeks. Hurts averages the most fantasy points per game of any player on the slate, scoring points both on the ground and through the air. Hurts also has clear stacking partners in A.J. Brown ($7,400) and DeVonta Smith ($6,300).
Tua Tagovailoa, $7,000
Tagovailoa has the second-best projection (19.45 fantasy points) of any quarterback on the slate. The Commanders defense has given up the 2nd-most schedule-adjusted fantasy-points-per-game to quarterbacks over the past 5 weeks. Tagovailoa also has great stacking partners in Tyreek Hill ($8,000) and Jaylen Waddle ($6,600). And for those who want to get a bit different within Dolphins stacks, Tagovailoa can be paired with either of his running backs, in Raheem Mostert ($6,600) and Devon Achane ($6,400).
C.J. Stroud, $6,900
Stroud has the third-best quarterback projection (19.38) on the slate. The Broncos defense went from arguably the worst in the league early in the season to extremely formidable in recent weeks, giving up the fewest schedule-adjusted fantasy-points-per-game to quarterbacks of any team over the past 5 weeks. Still, Stroud has had an incredible rookie year and has potential to put up huge fantasy points once again. Though Dalton Schultz is out, Stroud can be paired with Nico Collins ($6,000) or backup tight end Brevin Jordan ($3,500). Tank Dell ($6,500) and Noah Brown ($4,500) are both currently listed as questionable but will be in play if they are active.
Russell Wilson, $6,100
Wilson (18.12 fantasy points) has the top point-per-dollar quarterback projection on the slate. The Texans have given up the sixth-most schedule-adjusted fantasy-points-per-game to quarterbacks over the past 5 weeks. Wilson also has value pairing options, with Jerry Jeudy ($4,700), Courtland Sutton ($5,300), Marvin Mims ($3,700), and Adam Trautman ($3,500) allowing Broncos stackers to fill out their lineups with studs elsewhere.
