Still, NFL DFS players have several interesting options at quarterback for Sunday’s main slate. Without further ado, let’s dive into the top NFL DFS quarterback picks and fades for Week 12. Our NFL DFS projections are high on Gardner Minshew, but they’re low on Mac Jones at this week’s price point.

NFL DFS Quarterback Picks for Week 12 | DraftKings & FanDuel
Gardner Minshew, Indianapolis Colts
Price: $5,100 at DraftKings; $6,700 at FanDuel
The Indianapolis Colts have a favorable matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this weekend. They’re listed as 2.5-point home favorites for the matchup, and they boast an implied total of 23.5. Tampa Bay has a run-funnel defense that allows the fourth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks.
Our NFL DFS projections love Gardner Minshew in this spot. Minshew is projected for 3.3x value at DraftKings and 2.7x value at FanDuel, making him the second- and sixth-best quarterback by value at both sites, respectively. Jalen Hurts, Philadelphia Eagles
Price: $8,300 at DraftKings; $8,800 at FanDuel
Superstar quarterback Jalen Hurts is in a great spot this weekend. He’ll face the Buffalo Bills as a 3-point home favorite with an implied total of 25.8. Hurts can rack up fantasy points with both his arm and his legs, so while Buffalo’s defense ranks fourth-best in fantasy points allowed per game to quarterbacks, Hurts’ mobility could cause some problems. Their defense is yet to face a quarterback nearly as mobile as Hurts.
You’ll find Hurts projected for 2.9x value at DraftKings and 2.7x value at FanDuel, which ranks seventh and second, respectively. Hurts should have plenty of chances to show off in a game that should be close, especially with the Eagles playing at home. The books have Hurts’ passing yards set to 241.5 and his rushing yards at 38.5. His anytime touchdown odds are at just -140.
NFL DFS Quarterback Fades for Week 12 | DraftKings & FanDuel
Bryce Young, Carolina Panthers
Price: $4,900 at DraftKings; $6,600 at FanDuel
The Carolina Panthers will visit the Tennessee Titans this weekend. These teams have a combined record of 4-13. However, the Titans are undefeated at home (their “home” game against the Baltimore Ravens was in London), and they’re in Nissan Stadium for this one. They may have allowed the 14th-most points per game to quarterbacks this year, but most of that production has come outside of Nashville.
Young has struggled all season, so his price is set to a rock-bottom number at both sites, which is comparable to what you’ll find Tommy DeVito set to. Regardless, Young isn’t even a value at that price point. He is projected for just 2.6x value at DraftKings and 1.9x value at FanDuel. Don’t get hyper-contrarian and fit Young into your lineup hoping for his breakout game — this just isn’t the week for it.
Mac Jones, New England Patriots
Price: $5,100 at DraftKings; $6,500 at FanDuel
Are the New England Patriots going to start Mac Jones? Head coach Bill Belichick hasn’t committed to starting him — he told reporters that he wants “everyone to be ready.” That means both Bailey Zappe and Will Grier. If Jones gets out to a bad start, Belichick could easily bench Jones for one of those two guys.
Jones is projected for 2.6x value at DraftKings and 2x value at FanDuel. That’s with him playing the full game! If Jones gets benched, he obviously won’t meet that threshold. He’ll take on a bad New York Giants team that ranks right at the league average in terms of fantasy points allowed per game to quarterbacks.
