QB Own: Ownership projection of the starting quarterback for the given team.

Avg Sal: Average salary of skill position players weighted for ownership projections.

Top Value: Top stack % points per dollar of salary spent.

Rush %: How often the team is expected to rush on any given play during the game. A lower Rush % means the quarterback will be throwing more often!

Overall Rating: Stokastic’s rating of the quality of the stack, taking into consideration key variables like top stack probability, top value probability, and ownership projections.

Week 12 NFL DFS Top Team Stack: Kansas City Chiefs

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs find themselves near the top of team stackability ratings ahead of the Week 12 NFL DFS main slate. They have the second-highest top stack probability on DraftKings and the highest top stack probability on FanDuel for Sunday afternoon’s meeting with the Raiders.

As of now, the Week 12 team stacks page shows Kansas City with a top stack probability of 12.5% and a top value probability of 5.9% on DraftKings and 17.0% top stack probability and 10.6% top value probability on FanDuel. The Chiefs are implied for right around 26 points against the Raiders, tied with the Eagles for the highest on the main slate.

The boom/bust data is useful to check if we want to narrow in on the best-projected players for Kansas City. Isiah Pacheco leads the way with a 16.1% boom probability and 8.2% optimal lineup rate on DraftKings, with Travis Kelce at a 13.9% boom mark and 25.2% optimal rate. Mahomes has a 3.3% boom probability and Rashee Rice is at 3.4%.

Week 12 NFL DFS Top Team Stack: Los Angeles Rams

The Rams are currently right at the summit of both the DraftKings and FanDuel top stacks data for Week 12. As healthy as they’ve been in a while offensively, Matthew Stafford (4.8% boom probability) and company have the highest overall rating on DraftKings, top stack probability and top value probability for this upcoming road matchup against the Cardinals.

Using Stokastic’s boom and bust probability tool, we can get a better feel for which players on the Rams we should be targeting most. The data shows Cooper Kupp with an 11.8% DraftKings boom probability and 22.9% optimal lineup rate and Puka Nacua at a 7.7% boom probability and 10.2% optimal rate. Kyren Williams is set to return to the backfield and should take on a sizable role again, and he currently has a 6.0% boom mark for Sunday.

The Rams’ team prop page at OddsShopper lists Stafford with a passing yards prop of 238.5, while Kupp is in the 67.5 to 70.5 range for a receiving yards prop. Nacua is at a 61.5 receiving yards line, while Tyler Higbee is at 25.5 yards.

Philadelphia Eagles

It’s a battle of two Super Bowl hopefuls on Sunday, with Jalen Hurts and the Eagles set to host Josh Allen and the Bills. Philadelphia is tied with Kansas City with a slate-high implied team total of 26 points and is favored by 3.5 points against Buffalo in a game with a total of 48.5 points.

In what should be a competitive game with DFS stacking interest on both sides, the standout players for the Eagles in the boom/bust data are A.J. Brown, Hurts, DeVonta Smith and D’Andre Swift. Brown has the highest boom probability of the bunch at 11.9% on DraftKings ($9,000) and 15.7% on FanDuel ($8,800).

At time of writing, the Eagles’ team prop page at OddsShopper has Hurts with a passing yards prop of 239.5 yards and a rushing yards prop of 35.5 for a highly anticipated matchup with the Bills, and Brown with a receiving yards prop of 80.5. Smith is at a 60.5 receiving yards prop, and Swift is at 77.5 combined rushing and receiving yards at most NFL betting sites.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Buccaneers are another team rating out nicely in team stackability, as they’re fourth in overall rating on DraftKings (23) and first on FanDuel (31) for a road date with the Colts. They’re implied for 21 points and are 2.5-point road underdogs on the NFL odds board.

A main appeal for the Buccaneers is the lower salaries on the main NFL DFS sites, as the team’s average salary is $5,590 on DraftKings and $6,765 on FanDuel per the Stokastic top stacks data. They’re grading well out on both sites and have one of the lower expected rush percentages on the main slate too.

For Tampa Bay, the highest individual NFL DFS boom probability belongs to Chris Godwin – he’s at a 12.0% boom probability to go with a 16.6% optimal rate at $ 6,300 on DraftKings. He’s followed by Baker Mayfield (8.4% boom on DraftKings), Mike Evans (8.4%) and Cade Otton (7.2%) as the Buccaneers look to bounce back after a 27-14 road loss to the 49ers.
