Here are some of the top fantasy options that our data-driven rankings are higher on, compared to Average Draft Position (ADP) on DraftKings. Thee should help you find a few value spots to add to your lineups, allowing you to get more exposure than the field, by taking them a few spots or a round early in your drafts.
Running Back
Tyler Allgeier (Our Rank: 121 | ADP: 166)
The perfect mid-round RB for any best ball build type, Allgeier has a solid floor to provide you with 2-3 weeks of RB3-level production, while also offering massive handcuff upside. Should Bijan Robinson miss any time this season, you have a plug-and-play bell-cow with tournament-winning upside.
His underlying stats were strong last season, with a 4.7 YPC and a 22nd overall ranking in missed tackle rate.
Other ADP Value Options
- Rachaad White (123 | 159)
- Roschon Johnson (161 | 197)
- Dylan Sampson (124 | 154)
Wide Receiver
Hollywood Brown (Our Rank: 113 | ADP: 169)
Brown is a tough player to prognosticate this season after he missed most of last year with a left shoulder injury — his first in KC. He came back in Week 16 and posted a few serviceable fantasy lines down the stretch but flashed none of the big upside games we’ve become accustomed to over the years.
With Rashee Rice still facing a lengthy suspension and Skyy Moore and DeAndre Hopkins gone, there should be increased snap opportunities in KC. Recent word from camp is that he’s back in pads and looking like his former self.
Grabbing him in the 12th round should provide weekly stability, with boom weeks mixed in.
Currently, he has the highest discrepancy between our data-based rank and ADP in our rankings (going 56 spots later).
Other ADP Value Options
- Chris Olave (45 | 77)
- Jaylin Noel (176 | 214)
- Michael Wilson (167 | 204)
Quarterback
Trevor Lawrence (Our Rank 114 | ADP 131)
Lawrence has weapons galore at his disposal this season at the helm of the Jacksonville Jaguars, with the drafting of Travis Hunter and the return of NFL rookie phenom Brian Thomas.
New this season, head coach Liam Coen comes over from the 4th best passing offense in football – which should be a fantasy upgrade on the west coast oriented Doug Pederson.
Expect lots of play-action crossers, quick-game concepts, and layered routes, with more run-options which should pad Lawrence’s rushing stats.
Before injures set in last season, Lawrence was the QB15. In 2023 he finished as the QB10. He’s currently going off the board as the QB20
This feels like a make or break year for Lawrence, who will either elevate his game to the upper echelon of NFL QBs, or sink towards mediocrity and eventual replacement. Either way, he’s under-valued in best ball right now.
Other ADP Value Options
- JJ McCarthy (110 | 123)
Tight End
Jake Ferguson (Our Rank: 107 | ADP: 140)
The Cowboys’ starting tight end had to suffer through most of 2024 with Cooper Rush as his starting QB, finishing as the TE32 after missing 4 games. Though he wasn’t excelling when Dak went out, Ferguson was still the TE12 heading into Week 8 last year.
Only one year removed from a 71-761-5 season where Ferguson finished as the TE8, there’s more room for optimism in what should be a potent Cowboys offense.
Ferguson is a strong bounce-back candidate, a post-hype sleeper who provides drafters with both consistency and upside.
He’s currently being drafted as the TE16 on DraftKings. We have him ranked as the TE12.
Other ADP Value Options
- Mike Gesicki (158 | 188)
- Dallas Goedert (116 | 135)
- Theo Johnson (194 | 212)
